Goddamn it-- Stories about W need to stop being greenlighted unless it's about his arrest and trial/conviction for crimes against humanity.  Or maybe about his death (hopefully via something very painful and embarassing-- like getting raped to death by a horse.)

Just the mention of that human shiatstain has the potential ruin my whole day. We're going to be spending decades cleaning up the messes that war criminal has created. Any explicit reminder that he is allowed to walk around as a free man pisses me off to no end.

Good for him. I wish him well in whatever he does as long as whatever it is comes with absolutely no authority in any arena what-so-ever.

Lots of mothers find it's easier to take a child's shirt off for craft time rather than trying to wash paint, paste & boogers out of clothing.
I guess Duyba's handlers subscribe to this practise as well.

I don't think that's a danger of ever happening again. Maybe an HOA committee person. I don't know if they would regard a former President as qualified though.  They do have an high opinion of themselves.

Hating Bush makes about as much sense as hating the puppet on the hand of a notorious serial rapist who used a puppet. I don't know, it's not a perfect analogy.

Agoraphobic? The man practically lived on the first base line of rangers ball park for years. He was there for about 10 home games last year alone. How does an agoraphobic do that?

Are you saying he has no hand in the killing and crippling of thousands and nothing to do with the lost wealth in this country simply because of mental incompetence?

/He killed the mentally retarded in Texas.......

C'mon, I've been to Texas, and there are still millions of mental defectives around.

I suspect you'll take a similar angry attitude toward the present drone campaign?

So we can add painting to the list of things GWB is bad at. Like presidenting a country, owning a baseball team, owning an oil company, being a fighter pilot. Anything else anyone can think of?

He's really kind of going cuckoo, isn't he?

Not being able to tell the difference between fiction and reality was a symptom of his presidency. It's not ending well.

A) At least the mentally retarded convicts that have been executed got some semblance of due process
B) What the everliving fark does that have to do with anything in this thread or the linked article?

You know who else painted pictures of churches

I knew a guy in art school who painted like that. He disappeared at the beginning of the second semester of sophomore year. They found him wandering around the basement of the convent near our school, where he had assaulted several nuns.

Incidentally, with respect to Milenko's post, Adolph Hitler was a technically competent if uninspired painter. Had he received a little more encouragement as a young artist, the world might have turned out very differently.

When came to his art, Hitler had a serious Oedipus complex. He hated his Dada.

Be interesting to see how this pans out.  If he goes full-blow batshiat crazy it will make for a long and interesting news cycle.

And before anyone jumps on me about it, I didn't vote for him and I didn't like him.  But he served in a capacity he felt was as best he could and for giving those years as a public servant he is due at the very least that level of recognition and respect.  I don't wish him harm or death.  History will write the final verdict on him and his legacy.

CSB:  During a service at my old church in Brazos County TX, a man with a booming voice was doing the reading on Adam/Eve & the apple.  Everything was going great until he got to "and they both realized that they were nekkid" (his pronunciation).  Half the congregation (the ones not born there) did one of those quick loud laughs followed by lip-biting "shiat I shouldn't laugh at him" silence.  Kinda ruined the mood, yet made it more awesome at the same time.

Yes. And why not? Being a liberal is not about blindly following (unlike Conservatives in this country). Obama has done many good things, drone strikes are not one of them. Not repealing patriotic act, not even trying is another one. And we have no problem saying that. What's your point?

So as long as a head of state "serves in a capacity he felt was best," you think they should be free and clear from the consequences of criminal actions?
