Sriracha is just a variant on BBQ or "Hot" chips.
Cheesy garlic is just a variant on garlic/cheddar chips.
Chicken & waffles is just a variant of Chicken in a Biscuit, except on chips.

I will try the Sriracha chips with very low expectations.... I don't get the chicken and waffle thing, but I'm not really into waffles.

I once worked in an office where a woman would regularly order Garret's, but the flaming hot version sounds amazing.

I liked the Buffalo flavored variety. Now I can't find them now. It's a conspiracy.

I tried that and was very disappointed.  My favorite lunch is stir fried broccoli and tofu (with other veggies mixed in) covered in sriracha, but I can't enjoy popcorn with hot sauce.  It's a great hot sauce, but I just don't get the appeal.

Withholding judgment until I can test out Sriracha chips, but conceptually that's -awesome-.

I fell for this crap once.

I bought a bag of chips because it had a picture of hotwings on the front.... then as I was munching I realized that I didn't want chips, I wanted hotwings. I ended up tossing that bag of chips.

Lay's are like the greasiest chips.

And there's the whole pointy knees thing.

Chicken and Waffles. Must be the follow-up to shiat and Shinola, only less tasty.

Quick question: Are Lays the same thing as Walker's in the U.K.?

They have near identical packaging, but I think Walker's are a little more 'flaky'?

And in every single one of those new recipes, the secret ingredient is salt.

I'm in Spain, and this seems to be the flavor everyone gravitates toward.  I have to admit, they are tasty.  Tastes like chips smothered in ham gravy after Easter dinner...

Wow, even I think I sound fat right now.

my daughter loved them. i was too afraid to try it.

when i lived in belgium they would get all sorts of 'crisps' flavors from england. one was something like oxtail or something. was not appetizing.

i used to like taytoes cheese and onion from ireland.

gonna look for the cock sauce one.

Seth'n'Spectrum: Quick question: Are Lays the same thing as Walker's in the U.K.?

Yep.  Lay's owns the Walker brand.   I realllly like Walker's baked chicken flavor "crisps".  IIRC, they also have a bacon flavor.  Wish Lay's would make both of those here in the US.

2013-02-08 09:07:50 AM
For some reason, flavored Lays potato chips give me the shakes and make me feel weak.

Am I the only one with this problem?

All in one bag?  Well, that's going to be an interesting flavor combination.

I'll pass on the chips but chicken and waffles with Sriracha sounds delicious.
