A booking photo of Blanco released by police Wednesday shows among his visible tattoos is a large script "Melissa" on his chest just below his neck.

Well, he can always cover it with a tattoo of tire tracks.

I ran into my old girlfriend the other day.

Then I backed up and ran into her again.

I miss her sometimes.

1. The headline in the article makes it seem like someone ran the boyfriend over.

2. This is the graphic for this? What kind of car is this? Was he driving a 1988 diesel Golf?

The boyfriend of a woman killed when her body was repeatedly driven over in the parking lot of a Houston park has been charged with her murder.

Am I the only one that had to read that about 4 times?  I might be a little drunk yet but that sentence doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

That might explain why he had to run her over multiple times....

Let's see:

PHYSICALLY: The risk of getting a disease like Hepatitis from a tattoo artist that is not careful about sterilizing his/her equipment, the pain involved in getting one, the bleeding afterward

MENTALLY: Why would anyone think they need a tattoo to make themselves "better"? Also, if you get a tattoo because you think it's "cool" then you're applying the standards of the world.

SOCIALLY: People who have tattoos are often looked down upon as rednecks or low-lifes simply because they have tattoos, and people who have visible tattoos often get passed over for jobs by people who believe tattoos present an unprofessional appearance

SPIRITUALLY: Can't speak for any other religion, but there is a passage somewhere in the Bible (I believe it's in one of the New Testament letters written by Paul) that talks about branding your body and why it is of no benefit to followers of Christ.

I had to read the second line to figure out who died.

The web has pretty much killed journalism IMHO. Nobody gets paid any real money to write the news anymore, so it ends up being done by monkeys on acid (or so it seems) most of the time.

if i recall correctly it's Levitivcus 19:21, and there are others about markings as well.

personally i have no tolerance for lads that kill girlfriends. wives, i can more than understand being pushed beyond the limit a man can endure, snapping and crossing that oh no line. but a girlfriend is a walk away.

I know you're trolling a bit here, but I would simply like to clarify the mention under 'spiritually'

There is a passage in Leviticus (oddly enough, the name of the parlour I go to.) That says "thou shalt not mutilate thine body in remembrance of the dead." So, all these people that get memorial tats and images of Jesus and Mary (if it is their belief that the two actually existed) are the ones "in the wrong" in that respect.

/I will now release the hook.

There is a HUGE difference between getting a tattoo and getting a Race/Hate Tattoo on your face.  Many of our Veterans have tattoos as a reminder of their time in the military. To think that having a tattoo is somehow still 'taboo' is an old fashioned/outdated mentality.  That being said.. This guy looks like an IDIOT!
