I feel bad this article doesn't have any comments on it. So...um...it looks like something from Hoth.

I think all the comments were used up the first time this was posted.

This looks like one of the multiplayer maps from Mass Effect 3, Firebase Dagger.  That map is in a desert and this in ice, but it still reminds me of it.

The last time this was posted, the joke was about harpoons and tow cables... but we did manage to get a star wars joke on the rehash.

More pictures and video. Looks really cool.

I would have thought it would have been far easier to build them in a nice warehouse in the UK and ship them out finished since you can tow them into place. far easier to build in a nice warm building with all your tools and supplies to hand where you can go home each night than try to build it in the open in Antarctica in between snowstorms.

What a fully armed and operational Antarctic "research" station may look like.

I love this:

"The legacy of Captain Scott, together ith our strong track record of scientific discovery in Antarctica, is set to continue in this excellent new facility."

It's like they have no clue what happened to Scott, or why it happened.

Miss that show.
