The best part is that it's totally spontaneous and not staged at all! Say, doesn't Lenny Kravitz have a new album coming out?

That said, the mods should have at least tagged it "REPEAT"

No kidding. Video was shot and released by the Kravitz camp. Color me cynical.

better yet, he has taste.

That was freaking awesome.  I kinda like how Lenny sat down and played drums...rather than the obvious thing (playing guitar and singing).  He only sang at the end when requested...very cool.

A couple people have pointed out that this is a repeat from June of 2010, but we let it run again for those of you who hadn't seen it the first time.

I really liked this, although his significant step-up in drumming from the kid did highlight how "rhythmic" the choir wasn't.  Doesn't matter, every single damn one of them will be telling this story for the rest of their lives.

Plus they seemed to have Decatur Street closed.  Staged or not, worth it.

It's new to me, thanks!

Not my usual bag, man...but, y'know...this is still, like, relevant to my interests.

What?  You're telling me that a local church choir isn't composed of musicians of the same caliber as Lenny Kravitz?!

Staged or not, still cool.  Lenny Kravitz always struck me as a pretty decent guy.  Plus he got to put his penis inside of Lisa Bonet in her prime, which is a pretty nice thing to have on your resume.

Good repeat.  New to me as well.

No I mean that clapping on the beat is too much of a stretch for some First Baptist Church choirs, which was quite a surprise for me.  I'm not dissing the first drummer, he was fine, but more that the choir couldn't even lock in to the million-dollar metronome.

Perhaps they were just star-struck.  A reasonable reaction.

Did we flip-flop on that one?

Apparently so. I didn't have an issue... I didn't report it, but I did feel they should have used the Repeat tag.

I always give them the YT Benefit of the Doubt because YT videos so frequently have audio and video out of sync.
