meanmutton: It amazes me that people still pirate music in a day when you can get Spotify for what, $10 a month?

Then again, people are pirating House of Cards even though Netflix is only $8 a month and pirate all kinds of stuff that's free on Hulu.

Does spotify have really obscure bands from the early 70s? Like dust, cactus, weed, aardvark, spooky tooth, help, leaf hound, lucifers friend, captain beyond, are you even listening anymore?

MadSkillz: Maybe the record labels should find some artists that aren't:

A) a gimmick, like Nicki Minaj. I can't even look at her! It's like they took a seal and put a wig on it.

B) no talent 17 year olds.

C) Antares Autotune.

/I still buy CDs because you never know when your provider will fark you over.

What's the point of robbery when nothing is worth taking? It's kind of tough to tell a scruff the big mistake he's making.

You can't get Hulu in Canada. Or Spotify.

And Netflix Canada has about 1/3 of what Netflix US has.

BUT AT LEAST WE'RE PRESERVING OUR DISTINCT CULTURE BY PLAYING NICKELBACK SONGS ON THE RADIO!!!

Subby, your blog sucks. And the logo/banner thing with the blog name is farking stupid.

I like that it's a 400+ kb PNG that looks like it's a 25kb GIF and could be replaced by a bit of CSS.
Given the amount of clicks, that logo alone has caused about half a GB of traffic today.

Didn't read the article but this is from a few years ago where one of the omnibus bills(bills full of pork pork pork in the U.S.) wanted to legalize spyware in order to make everyones computer a dirty farking snitch.
It would reside deep down like a rootkit and make sure all your music/movies are paid for and then upload the results to the copyright maffiaa for approval.

/Sony/BMG had spywares on their music CDs around 2005.
//A .exe on the music disc that installed spyware on peoples computers that allowed autorun of .exe
///The canadian politicians(heritage minister is one of them) that are employed by the copyright maffiaaa want to make the RIAA happy no matter how many laws they violate in doing so(freedom of communication, right of privacy).

Canadas copyright maffiaaa was sued by artists for $8 billion worth of 'new mix cds'(take published music and make a new compilation for profit without paying the artists). The agents representing the artists settled for $50 million without any real trial.

the bill would of made anti-spyware and anti-malware and anti-virus illegal.
