I'm guessing kicking someone in the head would only normally draw a misdemeanor charge, but since he already had a prior conviction for assault he gets bumped up to the big league.  I'm more curious about the hearing for violating a no-contact order that the 'writer' tacked on towards the end there.  Did his brother have a no-contact order against him?

/ just another pale death which men miscall journalism

The Fark population has been dwindling. Fark was innovative, and drew in many for a long time. Now, many sites across the Internet have copied Fark, and those just looking for (weird) news have it RSSd or count on other technologies.

I assumed that the charges were bumped up because he was wearing spurs?
Or was it the spurs which were passing gas while fighting?

Or were these people fighting with spurs while farting? Probably all the beans cowboys eat? Well, who else wears spurs?
