(SeattlePI)   If you love camping but hate sleeping in a tent, cooking your own meal over a campfire, and getting lost while on a hike in a forest, you should really try glamping. "It's an effortless, authentic way to connect with nature"   ( seattlepi.com) divider line

If you love camping but don't like to cook your own meal and hate being in a tent then you probably don't love camping.  And if you are getting lost in the forest then you are doing it wrong.

So, they steal the idea of a high end safari.

How edgy.

NEWS FLASH, dipshiats:  Most state parks have hotels nearby.   You can tramp around in the woods all day, then go back to your room take a hot shower, eat dinner in the restaurant and sit in the jacuzzi drinking rum for the rest of the night.

It would STILL cost less than this bullshiat.

You know, I managed to get past "glamping", I really did. Then, I read the words "Chief Experience Officer". Now, there are 3 fist-sized holes in the wall next to me.

You're all missing the real story here.  Fark's own MeowSaidTheDog made a typical "what the hell did they just say?" post at the bottom of the comment section.  Whatever happened to herhimthem?

Half the appeal of camping is only having to pay for parking.

Though I do admire the business acumen applied here by charging jackasses 400 bucks a night to sleep in a temporary shelter.  That really has to cut down on overhead.   It's not "greedy people competing make the world go round", it's "the wives of greedy people competing make the world go round"

Connecting with nature without your spine being twisted out of shape from the uneven ground? No thank you.

I like my camping trips like I like my relationships: short, rough and with few stakes. (but plenty of steaks)
