I simply do not understand why white is the default color for underwear.

Not only is it boring, but there are other issues that arise with wearing any white fabric, if you know what I mean.

It makes me happy to wander through a Target (or some such store) and note that just about everything in the ladies undergarment section is brightly colored, and not the old boring white. That is progress!

I guess the tables are turning.  For years men have been claiming the undergarments of their conquest and the fancier, the better.  Now, men are decking the balls in new and colorful ways, so women will be able to congregate in a bathroom and show their competitors who beat them to the briefs, found the package in the boxers, and got inside the not so white, tighties.  We are now the hunted, men.  Woooohoooo!

Funny...as per Chinese New Year, I was told to go out and purchase bright red underwear as the upcoming Chinese Zodiac year is the same as my birth year (Year of the Snake). And for the price I paid for a single pair of red underwear, I could've easily bought a dozen pairs from Costco from the same brand.
