JesusJuice: GoldSpider: Weaver95: In fact, its possible that the Republicans have lost the next two generations of voters completely as a result of their asinine pro-rape and anti-middle class platforms.

You only said "rape" once.

Republicans are only pro-rape, they're against rape-rape.

They are also pro-rape-baby.

Here's a question:  What if the rapist is an illegal?  Doesn't that make the rape-baby an anchor-rape-baby?  What's the Republican opinion on this?

While not wavering from his conservative principles and desire to tame the record U.S. debt, Cantor expressed a new eagerness to help the needy in such areas as education, health care, immigration and moving up the economic ladder

I think he's lying.  his mouth moved.

Evil High Priest: Deneb81: I wonder how Freep and the rest if the Republican blog-world is responding to this 'softening' of the rhetoric.

In a reasonable and controlled manner, I am certain.

The question is, are they throwing him under the bus already, or talking about how the poors may finally be free of the dem wool over their eyes now that Cantor is speaking down to their level?

It's all crazy, my question is just in which direction.

Don't get me wrong: there will be folks who support this guy and carry water for him, but at this point it's akin to digging a hole to get out of the hole you've already dug.

That.  My first advice to any management team is "When you are in a hole, the first thing you do is take the shovel away from the guy that dug it."

Interesting. Because you see, when I said "Eric Cantor is a sniveling, lying, worthless piece of dog excrement that should be shoved face-first into an elephant's anus," what *I* meant was "Eric Cantor is a sniveling, lying, worthless piece of dog excrement that should be shoved face-first into an elephant's anus."

Hack Patooey: Weaver95: the GOP could make a credible attempt at making key changes that would eventually lead to the nation starting to trust the Republican party again..

I have a nickle that says you were unable to type that with a straight face.

I didn't say it'd be easy...or that the process itself wouldn't be hilarious to observe.  but if the GOP wanted to make the effort...they could start on the road to sanity again.

+7.
Would be better if you could somehow work in "facilitating" and/or "utilize".

They're syncretizing the paradigmazition of the facilitation for utilization and prioritizing of core competencies through strategic rebranding of synergistic market participation.

Cantor, you're a sniveling little cock.

Rest of you GOPers, come with me for a sec...

Look, you guys lost it. Both in elections and mental state. You pandered to the lowest common denominator and played to fear and loathing. We're not in Las Vegas, you shouldn't do such a thing. You have lied, cheated, and tried to steal an election and we saw through you. You don't give those that can vote enough credit, and I think you really fear that. I think the idea that most of us aren't brain dead yokels who respond to "9/11", "socialism" and "FREEDOMS" to justify voting to take away our rights is really a terrifying thought for you lot. You guys despise us, it's okay to despise us, but lying to us doesn't help you out here. You want to change how we think about you then you really have to change your core convictions. Right now, you're on the wrong side of history and instead of trying to figure out how the country feels, you're going with what the most extreme minority and thinking that they're the face of the nation. They're not. You should know that by now. Although I imagine that would take some self reflection which I realize you're really not that into. You want to change how we see you, then get rid of the hate. Get rid of the bigotry and underhandedness. Get rid of the "give us everything or we destroy the country" mindset. Get rid of everything you do to try and divide us and really, truly try and bring the country together. Work together. Cooperation does not screw us over, cooperation gets us moving to recovery. Stop trying to win for the sake of winning. Win for the sake of bettering the country, not your wallets, not your stature, not your standing among the CEOs of the world.

You have the ability to change the course of history for the better. You have the chance to bring moderation back to the national spotlight. You have the chance to make conservative not be a bad word, or even Republican not be a bad word. You can rebuild this country with the help of the other side to really, *really* make this a "United States" of America. Find it in your hearts to make an attempt to improve this country. Find it in your souls to overcome the desire to namecall and demonize the other side. Get rid of those that do such a thing, distance yourself from the members of your party that call for secession, that demand we collapse the country and economy because that's what St. Reagan would do. Get rid of those forcing judeo-christian law while denouncing Muslim nations that do the same. Teach us that you actually feel compassion and can relate to 80% of the people in this country.

You're not going to win 100% of the country and I'm not asking you do that. I'm asking you to wake the fark up and accept that the path you're on. The path where you demonize those that are different from you, where you use fearmongering to achieve your Dystopian vision of the world, where you feel that you are the absolute authority on everything and cannot see any other viewpoints. It's your time to reform your party, but changing the message without changing the mindset isn't going to do a damn thing. We know your shiat and we're disappointed that you won't change this, that you won't update your conservatism so that you're not outright hating on a group of the population to scare people to vote for you.

Ball's in your court, good luck

And get rid of Cantor. He's going to keep you guys from winning elections for decades if he stays in power

The survey gave Republicans in Congress an approval rating of 24 percent, compared to a 37 percent rating for Democrats.

How many of you reading this would still have a job if 76% or even 63% percent of your customers disapproved of your product?
