Yes

Since the loss of Mr. Rondo, the other players have stepped it up and are playing like a team.  I like the ball movement, however they won't be able to rest the stars like the Spurs are doing.  Kudos to the Celtics not falling apart with the loss of their "All-Star".

I am not in the locker room and maybe someone near the Boston area might know more about this, but am I wrong by saying that he is not a good "locker room" guy?  I am unable to listen to Boston radio as I once did.  If you can't get along with Ray Allen, I think it would be difficult to get along with the rest.  I could be wrong and am just going by the statements that I have heard in the past.

Statistically, throughout his career, yes, they have been better off without Rondo. But that's just facts.

So is Rondo like the TO of basketball?  Incredibly gifted athlete that no one wants to play with.

So now you don't know about Rondo because you've been unable to listen to Boston radio? Like they would know what's going on in the locker room?

Yes they would. You hear far more minutiae from local radio and print than you ever would from a national broadcast.

The thing is, there's never any names. They always say, "There are reports..." "Some people are saying..." and other weasel phrases like that.

Talk to me when Jackie MacMullan says it. Truth is, his teammates love Rondo. Pierce found out he was gone for the season on national TV. His Weeners was, "Oh my god."

I'm sure some of this is fueled by the rumors of Garnett to the Clippers for Bledsoe+Butler+, so now it's a question of do people think Bledsoe is starting PG material? (Or just a backup to Rondo)

If it's just people assuming they're going to go into rebuild mode, why would the Celtics ditch their only young star player?

WEEI is garbage and most of the shiat they say on there is not true.  Even if they don't miss Rondo in the regular season, they will sure as hell miss him in the playoffs.  National TV Rondo is a force of nature

Not to go off-topic, but if the rumors about a KG-to-Denver trade are true (and I have no clue if they are or not), I sure hope JaVale McGee isn't a part of it.   Few coaches are ready for that experience.

It's true that there are rumors, but they're not going to happen. KG has a no trade clause and has no interest in going anywhere but LA (because that is where he is going to retire to) and only if Paul Pierce gets traded somewhere else first

Not that Denver doesnt already have a bit of a complex about people not wanting to play there.

No you don't. You hear more 'opinions' from people who are, generally, very dumb.

It's pretty frightening how some people put these morons on pedestals like they're gurus just because they have a local AM radio show.

Right now they are better off, but once all the bigs retire or leave, he'll be all they have left.

I thank you sir.  This is what radio station I listened to daily and enjoyed.  They don't regurgitate topics as much as the ESPN shows, as least I don'st believe they do.  They are also a little more provocative as to the language used.. Basically they will call a pussy, a pussy.   I used to get it on my phone and forgot their call letters.
Thanks again.

So that makes two Rondo threads that JohnnyRebel88 wants nothing to do with my queries.
