Anybody care to be the modern art critic and evaluate and juxtaposition of the white mannequin head looking over the fence at the African American during this performance?

Well done dance, but the title reminded me of a a video that was a hit on the network formerly known as MTV a long time ago where once extra, a black man, was shaking in a shot lasting a few seconds that showed him.  A few years later, a VH1 Popup Video episode said he called that move "vibrating."  Anyone remember that vid and whose song it was for?

Sounds like Michael Chambers (AKA Boogaloo Shrimp) who played Turbo in the movies Breakin' and Breakin' 2.  I believe the video you're thinking of might be Lionel Ritchie's All Night Longbut I don't know for sure.

He makes a cameo in the gif below.

Nope and nope, I'm sure the vid I'm thinking of is a few years older than that, but thanx for your replies!  Beat it and All Night Long are favorites of mine :-)

\Hey!  It's the Eat It guy!

As ridiculous and stupid that whole thing was, there were a few movement reversals that were interesting from a technique point of view. If there weren't any camera tricks, there were some parts where he was flopping around in slow motion, which isn't an easy thing to pull off when lying on the ground and flopping like a fish.

Still, it's pretty stupid.

It was called something else back in my day..

First I limp to the side like my leg was broken
Shaking and twitching kinda like I was smoking
Crazy wack funky -- "People say you look like M.C. Hammer on crack, Humpty!"
That's all right 'cause my body's in motion
It's supposed to look like a fit or a convulsion
Anyone can play this game, this is my dance, y'all, Humpty Hump's my name
No two people will do it the same

You got it down when you appear to be in pain
Humping, funking, jumping, jigging around, shaking your rump,
And when a do-doo chump points his finger like a stump
Tell him "Step off, I'm doing the Hump!"

that video was playing backwards.
check the flaps of cardboard, how they move around.
