This is probably one of the funniest headlines i've ever read on fark. Well done subby!

17.24% of that increase would have come from my wife alone had I not veto'd a number of Shutterfly purchases over the year.  She's still made them a fair amount of money but I was able to hold her off from a couple of the more extravagant purchases - the 24" x 36" print for over $100 on a photo their computer warned her was of insufficient resoulution being only one of them.

Yep - we got one of those "free photo book" coupons when our twins were born last January.  She's been hooked ever since.

If you join similac strong moms (and you don't have to be a mom) you get a $20 shutterfly coupon.

A friend of mine got married last year. She makes $90k/year and wants for nothing, so I got her a Shutterfly gift card. I figured she'd want it for the wedding/honeymoon photos. I actually got an email from her about what a great gift idea it was (as opposed to the generic "I wrote 100 thank you notes in 3 hours" thank yous).

Anyone who held into earnings feels about 20% cooler today, but that's Rainbow Dash's line.

So, umm, I also +1 the HOTY sentiment, if that's OK with you.

+1 HOTW for sure

Excellent headline.

CSB:

I used to work customer service for Shutterfly back in 2004, right as they were starting to roll out many of their "tangible products". I was frequently tasked with processing returned merchandise. Processing included, but was not limited to: running stacks of CDs through a CD scratcher, ripping bins full of t-shirts to shreds with a boxcutter, and my personal favorite, taking a box full of mugs out back and hurling them into the dumpster as hard as I possibly could. Few things are quite so satisfying as smashing a couple dozen mugs against a hard surface.

tl;dr  I used to wreck returned sh*t for Shutterfly.

mother in-law didn't understand why they couldn't "just run that photo enhancement thingy from CSI" to make it work.  Thankfully Ms. Scarf took that call.

I'm told Fluttershy actually got her name from a spoonerism of shutterfly; G3 Fluttershy was apparently quite the photog, hence her given name.

/I'd post a ' more you know ' rainbow, but Dash would sleep on it.

If you mean the headline joke, there's a Disney song where the princess sings ("One Day, My Prince Will Come".) This creates a pun of that: "One day my prints will come".

In addition, there's a pony named Fluttershy, which is a malapropism of shutterfly. A shutterfly is a term for someone who takes many photographs.
