I still think that casting him as ned stark was a spoiler in and of itself

With the exception of Richard Sharpe, are there any characters played by Sean Bean that DON'T meet a grisly end?

You never see him get killed in Ronin.

He's like the only person who got out of Silent Hill fully alive.

He was only arrested in National Treasure but that's only because it was a cheesy Disney movie. In a real movie he would have bought it.

Yeah, I think Micheal Bien has him beat in the "dead in every movie" dept.

/Aliens barely counts since he was doomed and was dead by the opening credits of Alien3.

The real Sean Bean. IRL, he's Wolverine.

He's threatened but not killed.  Probably disappears since he's exposed as a poseur.  So in the sequel he shows up as an accountant.

I keep remembering Patriot Games wrong, because in the book his character lives

They should do him like he was in a final destination movie, cause everyone would be waiting for him to die anyway.

I watched that just the other day, and when everyone *but* Sean Bean died, I was really confused.  I figured there had to be a sequel or something.

While not as lengthy as Sean Bean's, I always liked Bill Paxtons list of on-screen deaths.  Only person to be killed by a Terminator, an Alien, and a Predator.

If you haven't watched the BBC series Accused, you're really missing some absolutely top-end, usually harrowing drama. Plus Sean Bean playing rather off type.

The synopsis of the movie sounded like it could be the synopsis of a really thought provoking and interesting sci-fi book, until that bit. Now it sounds stupid. I mean, humanity is considered unevolved and beasial by other races, not just culturaly, but geneticaly, well all but for this one chick who happens to be a perfect match for the Queen of the Universe? Seriously? Queen of the Universe? biatches please.

So it's Joan D. Vinge's 'Snow Queen' with a lot of stupid shiat thrown in.

The movie synopsis for Jupier Ascending sound like a mash up of Stargate TTVS and the book series Vampire Earth.

I'll go see it.

One does not simple ascend onto Jupiter.

heh...I forgot he was one of the punks.

One does NOT simply STAR in a Wachowski film.  There is evil there that does not sleep, and the Great Eye is ever watchful. It is a barren wasteland, riddled with fire and ash and dust, the very air you breathe is a poisonous fume. Not with ten thousand men could you do this. It is folly.

Slient Hill is a horror movie from some bizarro alternate universe where almost every character dies EXCEPT for Sean Bean.

2013-02-06 03:05:49 PM
I think his best death (and most awesome) was in Black Death.

That movie would have been better as a mini series.  Great death on Sean Bean's part, though.

Mugato: Yeah, I think Micheal Bien has him beat in the "dead in every movie" dept.

John Hurt has them both beat with 40 film deaths.

Though this guy you've probably never heard of has them all beat by several orders of magnitude.

Dying on camera? For one actor, it's a living

Actor Seizo Fukumoto has had more than 20,000 on-screen deaths

I don't recall Henrickson ever getting killed by an Alien. Ripped in half, yes, but not killed.

No, Ripley shuts him down because he was too farked up. So in a roundabout way, he was killed by an alien.

I swear, this is a recurring argument on Fark. You'd think it would be resolved by now.

What are you talking about? There was no Alien 3. Alien 2 ended all nice and happy. Then there was a break for a number of years. Then there was the fanfic movie that was entertaining, but obviously not canon "Alien: Resurrection".

THERE WAS NO ALIEN 3! LALALALALA I CAN'T HEAR YOU!!!
