Everything's bad for your teeth. Some more than others. But I would say 8 liters/day is a tad overkill...

he is british, so...does it really matter?

...among other things.

In fact, if you're drinking that much consistently, bad teeth may very well be the least of your problems. Possibly even the least cosmetically challenging.

The Daily Mail loves this shiat. Didn't they have a story awhile back about some girl who compulsively drank gasoline?

How is your blood type *not* RC by that point?

2013-02-05 09:22:55 PM
What am I doing with liters, now?

He's Australian.  Adelaide isn't in England.  That said, I can't imagine anyone drinking that much soda a day.  Even at my highest level of consumption, I was drinking 4-5 cans of Diet Coke a day.  All that sugar and caffeine.....no wonder I was having trouble sleeping.  I couldn't imagine drinking so much my teeth rotted out of my face and I got blood poisoning as a result.

I drink about a liter a day. I can't imagine drinking 8.

I drink 3-4 liters a day, every day. Still have most of mine.

2013-02-05 10:16:30 PM
It would probably be a good idea if he switched to Diet Coke instead. No calories, and no sugar, so nothing to make him fat and rot his teeth.

Damn cokehead.
Also, fake.

Ummm, you know Diet Coke has no sugar, right?

Actually, the carbonation will clean your teeth if you rinse with coke. Then you rinse the sugar off with water. It's better than nothing.

My diabetic brother might agree and also my other dead brother, don't drink pop it will kill ya.  Diet pop is worse.

Jeebus, 8 liters a freaking day? Why not just get one of those beer helmets, thrown in a couple cans and mainline that shiat? How the hell is dude not a walking blob of fat from taking in that many calories daily?

2013-02-05 10:29:03 PM

2013-02-05 10:30:43 PM
So 9 liters is ok though?

2013-02-05 10:30:50 PM
One brother drank beer like that the other drank pop like that and both are in the same dead boat, this sucks

2013-02-05 10:31:28 PM
How the hell is there that much time to drink 8 liters of ANY liquid?  Hell, even on a hot day in the sun, I can't get more than 4 or 5 down.  Does he have like a cola bong or something?

2013-02-05 10:34:27 PM
Look it up in the fark thingie.  liters don't amount to much, they don't pay a fiver a month

In other news today, we've found an actual case of marijuana being seriously destructive to your hea... Oh wait, never mind, that wasn't real pot, it was some sort of synthetic version.

But keep it up, Drug Warriors. Some day you'll surely get people to stop wanting to escape from reality, either for fun or because they're fleeing their terrible lives.

Sugary drinks do not make your teeth rot. If this dolt had ever brushed his teeth to clean off the rampant and overfed bacteria he would've been fine (except obese).

I just did some calculations based on the number of beers I would guess I drink on an average night.  I put down about a 30 pack every 2 days, which equals 180oz. of beer a night.  This is equivalent to about 5.5 liters of beer.  I also drink about a pot of coffee and various other drinks during the day.  I smoke a pack and a half a day and had a really bad coke habit for a while.  When I was 18, I was told that the enamel didn't develop properly on my teeth.  Basically, it meant that I was doomed to repeated dental visits that would require crowns, root canals, and other fun stuff.

Anyway, I still have no god damn clue how your teeth can get that bad, even when you drink that much soda.  I brush once to twice a day and use Listerine.  I am 31 now, and just lost my first non-baby tooth biting down on a god damn concrete Ikea potato chip.  As long as my grill looks good enough for a woman that she welcomes the idea of me burying my face in her meat wallet, my teeth are fine.

GOD BLESS AMERICA.

At that rate of consumption, I would think that the kidney stones the size of grapefruits would probably distract one from the whole rotting teeth thing.

I'm sure the Commonwealth, Canada excepted, probably is close enough in dentition. Except for that 7-Up guy from the islands.

I'm 29th with all of my teeth -- never had a cavity or anything.

Completely credit that to having barely drank soda since I was 18.

I stick with water, beer and wine, and mixed drinks maybe once or twice a month.
