Male spiders of the subgroup  also utilize hydraulics for another function: to power their genitalia. It's  that hydraulics may enhance genital mobility, potentially improving the lock between male and female spiders during mating.

The implication is kind of cool, that we should be able to simulate Spider movement fairly easily, or at least more easily than organisms using agonist/antagonist muscular action. Also, babies!

That article totally failed to explain why we would be afraid of something just because it's powered by hydraulics.  Humans invented hydraulics.
