John Candy was in a lot of movies that were kind of crappy, but they were a hell of a lot better for having him in them. And then Uncle Buck and Planes, Trains and Automobiles, which are pure gold. Oh yeah, Stripes is pretty good too.

He traded shifts at Denny's with Michelle Williams from Destiny's Child so that she could attend the Super Bowl. Win-win.
