Funny story about "Man on Fire." I was returning it to a Blockbuster. Remember those? A woman had asked me what the movie was about. I told her it was about a guy flailing around for two hours, trying to extinguish himself on various objects.

Her sarcasm detector was apparently broken. She merely said, "oh, my."

Not really, you can easily make six figures in the bodyguard business, all with minimal risk to yourself, if you are ex special forces.  Blackwater pays better, but you have to go to Afghanistan or some place full of IEDs.  In this line of work, traffic is the biggest threat.  I was never anything special, the high point of my career was as a MSG for an embassy and I had some offers in the 70k to 80k range when I left in the 1980s.

My mother was a helicopter parent.  Whenever I went into the ocean she wanted me I needed to be able to see my ankles or I was in too deep.

I wish I had a SEAL nanny that would have made me kill a shark with my fists.  I probably wouldn't have wasted all those years being absolutely terrified of the ocean.

You should try reading it and note the party about this service being offered, they're highlight how the people have medical training and tactical experience as part of the package, so it is safe to say they're charging bodyguard rates.

/plus the SEAL only owns the company, his employees are people whose experience range from SF to a 23 year old who appears to only be guard/reserves
