I'll be sad if wealth allows a horrible politician who ought to be viewed as a failure to create a political dynasty.

2013-02-04 10:43:30 AM
Just keep running him saying he wanted to punch the president.  That will play well in Mass.

Are you farking kidding me?!

Yeah, fark no...

I wish these rich, entitled assholes would just stick to farking over the working classes in the private sector.

Tagg Romney, 42, is Mitt Romney's oldest son. He was a prominent surrogate during his father's failed presidential run and started a venture capital firm, Solamere Capital, in Boston, where Mitt Romney reportedly keeps a personal office.

As one-line bios go, that's pretty damning.  They may as well have worked something in there about drooling on himself and kicking puppies.

Wierd. When I saw the name I thought for sure it was a Palin.

He's just going to go to Congress and give them the Thousand Yard Stare until they agree to vote for his legislation.

OK Massachusetts voters.  This is your chance to nip this one in the bud.  Three strikes and the Romney family is out.

2013-02-04 10:59:51 AM
Wow.  Romney's kids could be even more out of touch than he is.  That would be fascinating.

2013-02-04 11:00:59 AM
Aren't US Senators supposed to be, you know, seasoned and more deliberate than the hothead Representatives? Running a Romney spawn with zero political experience for Senator is nothing but hoping that Massachusetts voters are more stupid than stumps.

It seems impossible to kill a family dynasty these days.  Just look at how Jeb's name gets tossed around every now and then even though the entire family is persona non grata after Dubya.

Why do Morons, I mean Mormons, always look like they want to eat your soul?

Slaves2Darkness: Why do Morons, I mean Mormons, always look like they want to eat your soul?

Well, they're probably looking at your soul as an opportunity to grease the wheels for their God.  All proselytizing religions have that hungry look to them on one level or another.  The ones that actually require proselytizing as payment (looking at you, JoHos) have that ravenous feel to their hunger.

Oh please, oh please, oh please, please, please. We missed our chance to ride a Romney out of Massachusetts on a rail. Please, one more chance to utterly humiliate and debase the Romney family.

Unfortunately, I don't think there was any major OS changes between last generation and this current one.  The horrible bugs in the previous weren't discovered until the beginning of 2012 and the seriousness of the issues weren't identified until late summer.

To all those that are bemoaning this fact, please remember 2 things.

1. The National GOP wants this. The state party is looking at local guys to run, such as Tisai who "barely" lost to Tierney in November
2. This is the farking Herald reporting this. Take it with a grain of salt.

Anyone not in MA that think this is true should be smacked upside the head. You lot also thought Brown was going to run when every farking MA person with any ounce of political sense was telling you "Not a chance in hell"

So this is a non-story inside MA, this is apparently a story outside MA. You lot confuse me

This.  Even if Mitt hadn't spent the last ten years pissing in the well, Tagg already has a personal load of damning luggage he'd have to answer for.  The media would have a field day with his qualifications and history.

I have to tell you- this "great idea" the National GOP has of running some random Romney for Senate in Massachusetts fills me with amusement.

Rafalca has a better shot of getting elected than any of these clowns.

It's almost as if the GOP doesn't understand demographics and operates purely on a pig-headed adherence to ideology...
