That's pretty depressing.

About ten years ago, I was cruising down I-80 through Iowa and as I drove over a hill, I saw what looked like a huge pileup on the freeway ahead. Fortunately, it was right near a rest stop, so I pulled off into it so I could bypass it.

As I drove through the rest stop, I realized something was weirdly wrong. There were people running out of their cars and picking up what appeared to be armfuls of leaves.

Then I realized it was cash. It was everywhere, spread all over the highway.

I had no idea what was going on, but I just kept driving, watching an occasional $20 bill flutter across the windshield. About a quarter-mile up the road, there was an armored truck pulled over with the back wide open and the guards were on the phone, both wearing a "Shiat, we're so fired look". A quarter-mile past that, we saw several Highway Patrol cars speeding towards the scene.

From what the news said, they ended up arresting a number of people. I was glad I just kept going.

It may surprise you to hear this, but other parts of the world, including areas of China, often lack many of the daily conveniences that we in the west have come to take for granted.

i'll tell you why he took it all out. he was going home for spring festival, and wanted to show off a big wad of cash to his friends and family. there is no other reason. you can pay with a bank card for anything here..almost. hookers want cash, and so does mcdonalds.
