no clever name here just move along: that is incredible that a dog can smell death 66 years later.

He who smelt it, dealt it.

Then they should have at least named it the Black Dahlia Expressway.

Yeoman: PandaPorn: lohphat: PandaPorn: I don't get it. If her body was found, who is buried in the basement?

No one. That's where the murder took black before the body was dumped.

So the dog is just smelling where the blood leaked into the dirt? If that's true than that's quite the nose he got there.

The body was completely drained of blood, so yeah, there could well have been a whole lot of blood soaking into the dirt.  And, yeah, dogs have amazing senses of smell.

well, about 7.5 pints anyway... you can't completely drain a body of blood... the heart stops long be.... ummm.... I think I said too much.

/nevermind.... carry on

When the opportunity arose for Hodel to return to his childhood home, he jumped at the chance after producers of the SyFy Channel's Ghost Hunters program arranged it with the current owners.

Last November Hodel, together with retired police Sgt. Paul Dostie of Mammoth Lakes and Buster, a Labrador retriever trained to detect the unique smell of human composition, visited the property.

Once let loose, Buster quickly established four locations in the basement where he could pick up a faint trace of human remains.

The dog gets results and the "Ghost Hunters" don't. There's a shocker.

HindiDiscoMonster: eyeq360: Dr.Zom: Steve Hodel is full of shiat and a major league attention whore with unresolved Daddy issues.

Agreed.  His father, according to his "research," was responsible for Black Dahlia, the Zodiac murders, and every other serial killing out there.
I'm thinking he would claim that his father was farking Jack the Ripper and was responsible for the disappearance of the Roanoke colonists if he had the chance.

That was a demonic virus... don't you keep up with Supernatural?

Supernatural?  I don't watch that show.
But I do know that Star Trek: The Original Series conclusively proved that Jack the Ripper was an entity called Redjac.

well, a dialysis machine is the ideal choice, flushing with saline, but an embalmers machine will work as well (though it will need to be a variable pressure type to get all the capillaries..... dammit.... did it again... i should just be quiet now.

Well it's a case of he said she said. I think the Boulevard just had too much to drink and is regretting some decisions the next day. I'd keep an eye on that Expressway though.

this is one of the oldest, fakest stories ever to be cooked up...one of the original false flags, and hollywood is still at it. Do some research people. There is more here than meets the eye.
