They have too many intangibles.  You can't say exactly why, but you just know this team is qualified to win the Superb Owl.

2013-02-03 06:36:14 AM
I stand by my pick of the  Ravens by 14. And I do not like that team. I hate them less than the 49ers, and I was born in NorCal.

I can't say exactly why,  davidphogan, but I bet you are wrong wrong wrong.

Kapernick is over due for a "rookie" performance. Pretty sure today will be it.

The Ravens will win because Golden Retriever puppies on Jimmy Fallon and a Jack Russel terrier on the Tonight Show have said they will.

Contrabulous Flabtraption: Kapernick is over due for a "rookie" performance. Pretty sure today will be it.

It is called an outlier sir.  Nothing is due or owed because he is a rookie.

I'm so torn on this game.  On the one hand, I hate the Ratbirds and am tired of them.  And I kinda like the Niners.  But my best friend's having a hell of a time lately, and she really can't justify any other team join her Steelers in the six-ring category.  So I'm pulling for the Ratbirds even if I don't want to.

I'm sure Stabby McDeerAntler will lay some dirty hits and lead the Douchebirds to another boring Super Bowl win.

I'm a Steelers fan too but that's a stupid reason to me.

Would you really prefer Ray Lewis and the rest of the Baltimore Ravens win over the 49ers who doesn't seem to have any player that is a massive douche?

Easy pick for me, go Niners!

2013-02-03 11:50:22 AM
My head says "Ravens", but my heart says "49ers".

I'm a Bears fan and want to see the 49ers get six Super Bowl wins to tie the Steelers (the ex is a Steelers fan).

Plus, I never really liked Ray Lewis because of the whole murder thing.

Nope. There is no massive, weapons grade douche on the 49er sidelines. None at all.

This was originally a picture of him playing soccer outside of Bhengzi with several Muskim terrorists but the WH shopped it to make it more American.

The ray Lewis emotion angle is bullshiat. It's the Superbowl. Nobody will hold back anything.

Flacco is hitting stride. Ozzie Newsome is the best GM in the business. The defense is peaking at just the right time. Ravens 27-20. 49ers will likely be one of the best NFC teams for the next five years or so, though.

Yep.  The Raven's window is closed after 2013.

Because no weapon formed against the Ravens shall prosper.

(Wrongful death settlements formed against them do, though.)

It's Ray's last stab at a championship. If he loses, he'll have to bury the evidence of this potentially embarrassing situation where no one can ever find it. Then he'll undoubtedly blame the loss on his teammates in order to avoid any blame. It just seems like he's that kind of guy.

Please visit catbowl.com. Yes, it's a plug, but we are facing off kitty videos against commercials from the game to see which the internet prefers.

Also, we have some quality WTF going on there.

And kitties.

So there.

Is it just me or does anyone else think that these teams are the exact same copy of each other? Except one is "younger" than the other? The only real difference being the style of quarterback play (which is in and of itself an over-rated and over-analyzed subject, but that is for another time).

1) Solid offensive lines
2) Massively aggressive LB and DB play
3) good/reliable RB play
4) meh to reliable WR play with a "burner/speed" guy and a "slot / possession" receiver
5) Both have a Harbaugh as coach. (stupid Lions... why did you take the wrong Jim!)

The over/under on this game is 47.5? To me, that seems high. That would happen if the Ravens(browns) totally break down in the front 7 and let Kap... Kaepp... Karper... the 49ers QB run around like mad.

I am thinking 30.5 to 35.5, at best.
49ers: 17
Ravens(browns): 14

Prediction time, sweet. I'll go:
49ers: 24
Ravens: 26 (with 2pts from a safety)

2013-02-03 01:43:38 PM
Bears 37
Ravenas 8

Are you kidding me, with that site line he must be playing some sort of Keynan rules where you throw the ball through the uprights to score points.  And check out the vertical displacement of his right foot, that poofter has no right to tarnish the office of the President of the United States.

Dude, why are you cranky today (other than Roger in your team's town)? That was just a zinger from all the jokes in the other thread.

As a peace offering, I offer you my old submission about Roger Goddell being eaten by a giant vagina: Link

49ers didn't exactly win any PR  battles this week. shiat, Ray Lewis already has a ring, so what's another? What other Ravens are as unlikable as the 49ers Randy Moss, Culliver, Ahmad brooks, & Isaac Sopoaga?

Detroit by 7.

By the way, lost in the Ray Lewis murder/deer antler spray and bro v. bro stories is Michael Oher playing in the SB.  His story is rather amazing (in the Michael Lewis book - haven't seen the movie).

Detroit still has the rights to Barry Sanders, don't they?  Seriously, they should call him.

I agree on all counts (except I'm in SoCal).  The Ravens are going to shut the Niners down something fierce.  The Niners q-back is in for a very rough 3 hours today.

2013-02-03 03:34:11 PM
I get the feeling this will be the 49ers coming out party.

2013-02-03 03:47:25 PM
Kapernick leaves a few plays on the field and misses out on 7 points.
Akers misses a FG.

Ravens win, but garbage time scores make the score look close in a dull game.

I usually trust farkers gut feeling on predictions. So the majority are saying the Ravens will win?

Bet the house?

Easy pick for me, too. I would rather gargle shotgun mouthwash than see the Farkin' Ratbirds and Murderin' Ray get another ring. The Steelers can always win a 7th.

Hey- im sorry. Im really sorry if you bet based on what i said. I did have a strong feeling. well, the Carrion Eaters won, so there is that . I am sorry if anyone lost funds. I am not the Oracle, even if I have all the answers. Or something.
