Which of Dante's Circles of Hell is that again?

She's not mentally stable enough for that kind of work.  She's still under a conservatorship that her dad is in charge of.  She's been heavily medicated, she has to ask permission to drive her car, she can't go anywhere alone, she's on an allowance......I don't know what they were thinking even suggesting this kind of endeavor.  She can't sing live, she can barely dance anymore.....what would be the point?

I actually feel sorry for her.  I feel sorrier for her kids, but I do feel sorry for her.

Not sure what your problem is but Elton John and Rod Stewart are two of the best entertainers to ever walk the face of the earth.

The other two have no relevance to the world of entertainment.

So STFU.

Tina Fey on Weekend Update, about 1999:
As a mother of two, which I am not, I worry about the lack of positive role models for today's young girls. For example, Britney Spears caused controversy last month when she wore this skimpy outfit at MTV's Video Music Awards. Critics called the outfit inappropriate and say it's just another example of Hollywood sexualizing young girls. But I say, ladies - give it up. Britney looks good. Look at that ass! That is a cherry bomb. You gotta look at that thing through a hole in a paper plate. Britney, in about five years that whole area is gonna blow... so enjoy it now... have it photographed as much as possible. Rub it with fine oils and liniments. You will miss it when it's gone.

Her personal handler/boyfriend/manager/ just quit his job. She can live carefree in her gilded world without needing to work and this seems like a no-brainer, except for the vultures circling her. Sad.

You can hate on TMZ all you like, but they very often are not only right, but first.  They are serious about their celebrity stalking.

TMZ, the "news" outlet that was desperately trying to pin an idiot paparazzi getting hit and killed by a car on Justin Beiber?  And constantly rehashes this?

Though this was interesting... down in the comment section

Britney's deal reportedly collapsed cause she has lip synched her entire career and the casinos were scared Patrons would sue for her not performing live, that is in several other articles. She had three casinos interested, esp Caesar's and Hard rock cafe, now Caesar's has bailed and Hard Rock Cafe hired a hypnotist! Time will tell if anyone else in Vegas takes the risk with her. Her own fanclub site Breathe Heavy mentioned the issue of singing live, so even her die hard fans are discussing it...

2013-02-03 03:26:50 PM
My friends around town think she might eventually end up at the LVH if the Maloofs end up buying that casino. She might even end blow up like Elvis and shooting tvs in her suite.

Rod Stewart is a competent songwriter, but I've always found his "charisma" to be kind of creepy and off-putting. I'd go see Sir Elton any day of the week.

But back in 2000...

Area Father Takes One More Look At Liner Notes Of Daughter's Britney Spears Album
News in Brief • Local • celebrities • parents • music • ISSUE 36•26 • Aug 2, 2000

JEFFERSON CITY, MO-Marv Reynolds, 42, father of 11-year-old Ashley, slipped into his daughter's bedroom for one more look at the liner notes to her Britney Spears album Monday. "Just like to see what my daughter's into these days," said Reynolds, perusing the photo-packed booklet accompanying Spears' Oops!...I Did It Again for the fourth time in as many days. "I bet she'll put this on the moment she gets home from soccer practice in 20 minutes." Upon hearing a car pull into the driveway, Reynolds, who has previously browsed the liner notes to his daughter's Mandy Moore and Christina Aguilera CDs, put the Spears disc back exactly where he found it and left the room.

She could sing all her hits in the first 15 minutes. Then what? 75 minutes of crazy?
