when is Linux going to be as exciting as windows and OS X?

When it starts running a worthwhile app or two?

This is interesting and funny, but who would really be affected by this bug?

I've been working with computers since 1981, and testing this bug myself is the first time in my life I've ever typed anything remotely resembling "File:///"
