Gee, I didn't see a list of politicians who design and vote for anti-gun legislation.   Oh, that's right it would include Mitt Romney and many other GOP members...  so we can't tell the public about that !!!

I get a kick outta the fact that the NRA has the Catholic Church on it's list (or at least part of it anyways).  I've pointed out to my more conservative catholic/christian friends that they really have to be careful about following groups like the NRA.  the Pope's condemnation of the 'culture of death' isn't compatible with the agenda's of groups like the NRA.  my observations were not appreciated.

*sigh*

cafeteria catholics.  day one of catholic school you learn you can't pick or choose....you either follow ALL the church doctrine or you ain't in the silly hat club anymore.  that includes the whole 'no killing' thing, as well as pro-life meaning ALL life is sacred and you gotta take the 'help the sick and poor' seriously.  No sneaking ayn rand in there when you think nobody is watching.  But...they don't wanna listen.  they'd rather cling to what they WANT their religion to be rather than accept what Christ was actually telling them.

I am not on this list.

Neither is Obama.

Pope isn't from Murica.  'Murica Jesus would have had 3 AKs and shot the Romans and then taken a bullet for a little boy just so he can die and come back with a vengeance.

Danny DeVito - Actor

You mean the guy who waves a gun around in every episode of Always Sunny?

That's hilarious!

Would it not be easier to make a list of those who support them?

it's interesting watching them twist their own religion to suit their personal political agenda(s).  when I point out that the church considers such a thing to be heresy (and has explained this definition very well over the past couple centuries) they go away in a huff.  my point is that it is NOT easy to live a life in line with Church teachings.  you really cannot be a member of the Republican party and still be 100% in line with the Catholic Church.  sure, the GOP is pro-life...but they're also into screwing over the sick and poor...and that's where you end up having to choose between your political party and your faith.  Most republicans I know end up choosing their party over their church.

The NRA is nothing more than a Republican PAC. They don't give a damn about firearms owners in general, and are only concerned about getting as much money as possible from Republican donors and then pretending to funnel it towards campaigns.

It figures that the dumbfarks who run the NRA don't even know how to alphabetize properly. For example, why aren't the Baldwins next to each other?

Clearly, this looks like payback for the gun owner outing in NY.

They're hoping It translates to a hit list.

They've done it before.

Now you know why no one under Secret Service protection is on it.

Obama on their enemies list? Of course not. The NRA talks a lot of shiat about the second amendment allowing them to stand up to the government but would shiat themselves if they actually got a visit from the secret service.

Instead of hating the NRA, maybe you guys should save your dislike for people who are.....you know....actually trying to restrict our freedoms.

Feinstein, McCarthy, Lautenberg, Cuomo etc.

No thanks. I'd rather hate on the NRA.

There is no firearm regulation they could propose that will impact me at all.

Yes, but it's even more than that.  They demand that citizens be allowed unlimited access to firearms to protect themselves from a tyrannical government while at the same time demanding increased funding for the very military that would be used against them.   They're nothing but a lobby for the weapons industry masquerading as a grassroots organization.

The NRA is restricting your freedoms to.

You just haven't read any Isaiah Berlin because you're not actually interested in the study of the topic you just like bleating the word.

Assuming you're a straight male, then you shouldn't care if abortion and gay marriage are federally banned, right?

6-year-old's right to live > some idiot's right to own a 30 round magazine. When you and they are smart enough to understand that, we'll talk.

What's the Catholic position on self-defense? Buy cloaks?

Would you rather a woman be raped or a woman shoot a rapist? Since you're making a false dilemma at least make one that is more typical. Sandy Hook would have still happened if all Adam Lanza had was a shotgun like the kind Obama "does skeet shooting".

why is this in the sports section? shouldn't there just be an "obvious troll section" for panty waist let somebody else defend my rights and safety submitters?

'Denial of marriage equality and reproductive liberty is no more unjust than preventing one from owning 30 round magazines or freedom from background checks.'

Conservatives uniformly are terrible at analogies.

2013-02-02 12:20:39 PM
And yet, if there was a coup in the U.S. and it became a totalitarian socialist deathcamp space station operated by gay abortionist unicorns, the NRA would be the first to hand over a detailed list of everyone it has ever had contact with.

I'ma let you finish but the anti-Prop 8 organizations had the best enemies list of all time... of all time!

Seriously though, you know you have an awesome enemies list when it identifies individual medium to small-time donors and lists their jobs so you can harass them at work.

2013-02-02 12:29:42 PM
Surprisingly, it appears there's very little overlap with the LOPCATGOPATA. I suspect if you merged the two lists, the only people not included would be NRA strategists and their spokespuppets.

Dear NRA,

I would very much like to be the one who pries the gun out of Charlton Heston's cold, dead hands, and am so liberal, I'd like to slap white-out all over the phrase "to bear arms" in the Constitution and replace it with "to hug trees and gay marry whales," so could you please add me to your "List of People Who Made the NRA Sad"?

Thanks very much,
Prank Call of Cthulhu

P.S. "Well-regulated militia," motherfarkers, it says "well-regulated militia," what the fark is wrong with you stupid cocksmokers?

2013-02-02 12:31:39 PM
Are we down to gun owners that perceive that the right to shoot an AR-15 with their 30 round magazine is in the constitution but the right to have m-16's, hand grenades is not in the constitution?

I gotta ask, how is it s known fact that sawed off shotguns are not constitutional, but ar-15's are.   How is a rifle with a barrel below 16-14 inches not legal, but 18 inches is?  Mental health evaluations for owning firearms are not constitutional, but criminal records checks for full-auto licenses are?

/Maybe the some people will have the constitutional right to shoot flintlocks, clockwork or percussive cap firearms?

//Not that an AR-15 is any worse then a mini-14, but having assholes cut back on the taticool, and not shooting grade school children with them, would improve perceptions in the general public.

They put Ed f*cking Koch on there, the f*ckers. How much do I have to contribute to the Brady Center to get on the list? I'd consider it an equivalent honor to being named as an enemy by NAMBLA or Al-Quedroneda.

The funny thing is that the person who made that image clearly doesn't know much about the firearms industry as evidenced by them choosing S&W and Ruger for the "sponsors" of the award. Those who know what I'm talking about will find it funny.

For those who don't...

Ruger upset a lot of people back in the 90s

Same for S&W

So yea... gun control talk isn't something they like to talk about. Not to mention the guns that are the hottest right now aren't made by them.

Going with a goofy emotional appeal, eh?

You know how many people have been shot via my 30 round mags? ZERO.

Would you somehow feel better if a child was shot with a New York approved 7 round mag? Get real.

Anything that would increase the skill level for such an unfortunate event, I would be in favor of.

Lets not make it too easy for the nutcases.

The United Methodist Church is on the list. You'd think bitterly clinging to guns would make bedfellows with those bitterly clinging to (protestant) religion.
