Too young, not grizzled enough.  Toss his ass into the desert for a year with no moisturizer or sunglasses.  He can use the time practicing speech patterns with his father (and watching Marilyn Monroe vids).

So, he'd be perfect for Wizard and Glass.

Roland was 14 in that. So, no. This would be even more ridiculous than Tom Welling in Smallville. (I like TW, he was just so obviously 23 and not 14 in season 1.)
