Three states out west? That's impressive.

FTFA:  Nevada, Arizona and Utah

Oh, that little section of I-15 that dips into AZ? Not quite so impressive.

I dunno.. having cops from three different states chasing you at high speed is still an accomplishment

He is facing  a  lot of time.Honestly, I would just take the $18,000 hit and leave the country.Losing that money and having to start a new life seems better than years in prison.

Tyler's daddy has 18 grand in the couch cushions. Soon as I saw this a couple of days ago, I knew who it had to be, He was 'The Next Big Thing' for about ten years.

I figured he'd be more of a "Start and park", so the police could sit back and let him drive a few miles before he pulled over.

Naw, Tyler has a long, long history of these types of shenanigans. He was really one of the first internet memes.

Dude has over 100 sprint car starts and like 20 something Cup starts, but let's go with "NASCAR driver"

When you succeed in making your brand synonymous with the whole sport, you have to take the good with the bad.

Sprint cars have as much to do with NASCAR as bobsledding does.

When something happens with AJ Foyt or Mario Andretti, are they going to be referred to as "former NASCAR driver"?

You're getting no sympathy from me. The word 'NASCAR' has to mean 'automobile racing' for most Americans. That happened because the France family wanted it to happen.

Whining about it seems stupid.

Should be 'has come to mean'

Did anyone here start a NASCAR.com fantasy team?

IF only there were some other event in another form of motorsports in North America that would cause people to flock to NASCAR.

There was a time the Indy 500 was bigger than the Daytona 500. That change is as much the fault of the open wheel folks as it is the France family.

Same here. If it was an article about a NASCAR racer getting pulled over and blowing the cop, I would have went with Danica Patrick or Jeff Gordon.

I'm interested. Never done any fantasy racing stuff. How's it work?

Drivers are separated into different classes.  You can use each driver 9 times for the entire year.  Pick 4 drivers each race (1 class A, 2 Class B and 1 class C) and hope for the best.  Easy stuff.

I want to use Danica WAY more than 9 times.

Alright. What the hell. I'm signed up.
I'm freaking itching like a junkie running dry for race season to get going. The 24 at Daytona was nice. Can't wait for the two sports car races at Seca.

I picked my C-class drivers as a team, for the lulz: Danica Patrick and her new boytoy, Ricky Stenhouse Jr. I was a bit cranky, though, that I couldn't select Old Man Martin as an A-class driver (but he is going to be my primary B driver).
