syzygy whizz: KrustyKitten: The Ghost of Tom Ace: I'm really not looking forward to this summer as it will be the first summer since having to finally give in and buzz my hair off (hair loss from thyroid cancer).

Anybody have advice for not looking too terrible with a shaved head at the beach?  Does having a tanned head make a world of difference?

Wow - i would think the beach would be one of the best places to rock with a shaved head.  How about a very awesome scarf, a super trendy floppy hat or cowboy hat w/ scarf underneath?  Add gold hoops to all of those looks and you're set.
I don't know that I'd tan much, I bet that if you've had hair on your head your whole life, that you'd burn pretty quickly.  And that will cause, well, cancer.  Which it sounds like you've already got covered.  So be safe and fashionable!

/also the last pic is what i imagine most farkers look like
//and F cancer.

Probably a good idea to rawk an awesome hat.  Protect your head from too much sun...thinking that cancer  treatments can do really rude things to your body temperature controls.  Heatstroke, that sort of thing.

/ ...not to mention getting just a plain ordinary garden-variety sunburn can hurt like a mofo....
//  Rawk on...may you be claiming "CANCER SURVIVOR, BIATCHES!" for many years to come.

Hey thanks guys.  Fortunately I had the cancer that if you had to pick one, its the one to have because it's very survivable.  I believe it has pretty much been eliminated but the radiation took its toll over the last couple of years and left my hair incredibly thin up top.  I already wear a hat 99% of the time I go out but now that I've buzzed it off, I've been slowly trying to come out of that shell.  My love life is pretty much non-existent since having zero confidence and, honestly, I couldn't care less about not getting my hair back. I really want my confidence back god dammit!

Get some hot wimmins to rub oil on it while you kick back in a suitably throne like chair.

Always worked for me.

Nothing wrong with that.  They're candids, she's not made up to look celebrity-hot.

/kinda like the second one, with the "Oh, you!" expression on her face

So this is basically every weekend in Provincetown.

jtown: What the Hell is going on with #20 (on the right)???????///?/?

Looks like he was once morbidly obese, and then lost a bunch of the weight.

Thanks, subby. I was feeling bad about certain parts of my body but having looked at these pictures, I feel like a pinup girl.

They're not candids, they're on-the-set shots of her in wardrobe for the character she's playing.

I saved that in my 'exercise' folder of my favorites, for when I feel like eating way too much or slacking instead of going to the gym. Holy shiat, those are worse than the pain series.
