It's amazing to me how many dyed-in-the-wool racists and neo-Nazis you can have on your side while still denying that your platform is racist or neo-Nazi.

I think we're finally getting into the thick of the "anger" phase of conservative grief and loss

Everyone who signed up for Tea Party Community missed the attention they got from their Facebook friends when they made overt racist posts. That's my theory.

Good luck with that. Also, some of my family came over a land bridge from Asia. And we don't call AK-47 "Thundersticks," anymore, either.

Rapert explained his long-term goals in a racist 2011 rant at a Tea Party rally . . .

Go away, Teabaggers. Only you could take the act of dragging your testicles over another man's head and turn it into something tawdry and disgusting.

You should see how badly black people in Arkansas have oppressed the poor, overwhelmingly (80%) white majority. It's like looking at a negative of South Africa.

I don't know if the GOP is disintegrating or just tired of hiding their true colors.  there is some seriously bad ass crazy hidden away in the dark corners of the Republican party....and I think it's now decided to come out and play in the sunlight.

Tired of hiding? Nope. His election had them angry. His re-election flushed them out into the open. They will fade back into the background once whitey is back in the White House, where he belongs. And then they'll work to ensure this never EVER happens again.

Please don't judge us by that inbred piece of human excrement. His attitude may be typical of the backwards rednecks in the rural areas of the state but I promise you, here in the capital area,we are NOTHING like him.

yeah, but consider this - all during Obama's first term, the GOP really honestly believed that the country was moderately Republican and 'christian' enough to vote out the 'atheist muslim usurper'.   they *knew* right down to their bones that there was no way Obama would get re-elected.  everything in their echo chamber proved Obama was gonna lose.  LIbruls were gonna lose.  the country was going to RISE UP and be right with the Lord God almighty and Romney was gonna clean house.  when none of that happened....it shook the GOP to their core.  'rocked their world' isn't even close to how shocked they were by the election results.  So I wonder if what we're seeing is just that 'shock and awe' coming out in the open.

NutWrench: It's amazing to me how many dyed-in-the-wool racists and neo-Nazis you can have on your side while still denying that your platform is racist or neo-Nazi.

Personally, I wish the GOP would kick the racists and neo-Nazis out of their party. But, then their membership would plummet and most of the South would vote American Independent or Tea Party instead.

/I don't see a problem with that myself.

2013-02-01 07:18:56 PM
At this point I have to wonder if republicans go out, find the truth and then say the exact opposite. Because its hard to believe they can really be as wrong as often and consistently as they are unless its on purpose.

I was surprised how much the Republicans believed their own bullshiat last November. OMG, the Karl Rove meltdown on Fox News was a scream.

I hate to tell the fat slob this, but "minorities" are pretty much the majority anymore. Assholes who wear American flag everything are shrinking.

If you look at the KIA list from Iraq it looks like the time sheet for the local burrito shack. My brother in law was one. I bet this fat sack of shiat never even considered military service because of "knee issues". Just like he assumed hero, Rush Limbaugh.

I'll toss this quote up from a book I'm fond of:

It was a near-carbon copy of the West Indian slave state these Barbadians had left behind, a place notorious even then for its inhumanity....From the outset, Deep Southern culture was based on radical disparities in wealth and power, with a tiny elite commanding total obedience and enforcing it with state-sponsored terror. Its expansionist ambitions would put it on a collision course with its Yankee rivals, triggering military, social, and political conflicts that continue to plague the United States to this day..

Look, I don't think most southerners are part of this elite. They aren't. But the few that have all the power, money and control? Yeah, they think they are above the rest. Less people participating in the political process? The better!

hard to disagree with that conclusion.  a lot of republicans show open contempt of 'average voters' these days.

the GOP as a whole seem to have a lot of difficulty accepting just how badly they lost to Obama.  they sure don't seem to be showing any willingness to examine the reasons for their losses.

2013-02-01 07:27:14 PM
And to think, I was afraid my list of insane GOP quotes was going to have to take a break once the election was over...
