While Spielberg has no problem showing up inVanilla Sky orAustin Powers orGremlins, he doesn't seem to appear very often in his own films. He did provide the voice of the radio operator inJaws, but other than that nothing else really comes to mind.
Missed probably the most obvious cameo in someone else's film I can think of: The Blues Brothers. He is the clerk in the Cook County Assessor's Office.
