Love her voice...she seems like a horribly depressed person though. Hopefully this is more upbeat than some of her other stuff.

I've been a fan of pretty much everything Moyet and Clarke have done for the past 30 years. I'm looking forward to this.

I don't know, I just thought it meant for her boyfriend to "move out", as in pack boxes and leave, because he brings her down.

What are you, 80 or 20? Yaz came out in 1982. She was a big part of the 1st Live Aid in 85.

unlikely: This song came out when I'd just broken up with my first live-together serious girlfriend.
Utterly destroyed me.

Who's the guy singing?

Hm. I thought some Pricipal caught sayof'd Alanis Morrissette and Yahoo.

For the younglings wandering in who don't who she is, she was responsible for this 80's staple. You may recognize it from the final scene of Can't Hardly Wait, also Fringe.

/I'll kick everyone's ass in this room!

"Essex" is solid on every track. Not a big fan of her Yaz work. But her "Coventry Carol" is hauntingly delicious.

Essex is awesome - "Dorothy" is one of my favorite songs ever. HooDoo is good too but it takes a while to get under your skin (and Kirsty MacColl sings backup on some tracks).

I still can't get used to the new, slim Alison, though... she just looks wrong.
