I want to own a dog.

I want to own a dog so I can chain it to treadmill and video tape it.

That is the essence of owning a pet.

2013-01-31 01:56:01 PM
I also looked at the vid and thought 'WTF, seems harsh to chain the thing to the treadmill'.  Then read some of the youtube comments and realized that the chain was connected to the safety stop on the treadmill.  So if the dog got tired and stopped, the treadmill would stop.  Not cruel or irresponsible like I initially thought.

I'm surprised we couldn't hear the owner mouth breathing in the video.

I thought it was adorable.  And smart little baby too, didn't take him/her long to figure out going from the front was fun, but getting on and running with the big dog was better!

man, some farkers in here are as bad as the politics tab.  No matter what it is, they'll slag on it without getting any facts.

Yes, nothing cuter than a room-full of deadly force. So glad the owner has a way of compensating for whatever feelings of inadequacy are soothed by owning killing machines.

You can disconnect that tether device magnet, in case, like, your wife actually ever uses it.

Her grandmother, Nancy Presson, was severely injured trying to protect her. Michael Gordon, a convicted felon, owned both pit bulls. Neighbors said they had complained many times about Gordon's dogs running loose. Police said they warned Gordon at Christmas -- just a few weeks earlier -- to keep his dogs contained. At the time, Gordon admitted that his dogs, Rebel and Daisy, often managed to "hop the fence." Residents of Waxhaw were devastated by the incident. Hundreds attended Makayla's funeral, which began with the little girl's body carried in a horse drawn cart. After the funeral, town commissioners set up a panel to study the existing dog control law and to determine how to better handle potentially dangerous dogs. On January 26, Gordon turned himself into police after being charged with involuntary manslaughter. </i>

Grandma didn't make out so well, either.  There's a picture of the little girl.  Does it make that '31' number a little less anonymous for you?

I vote the ex-con.  A lot of people own pit bulls just because the dogs have a tough reputation and they'll do what they can to instill meanness in their dogs and they don't care much if the neighbors complain.

Let's DNA the dogs and see if they really were "pitbulls". The media has a funny way of calling every dog that bites somone a "pitbull", even if it looks like a german shepherd.

This kind of simple truth may cause a liberals head to explode, like being against the death penalty for convicted murderers, but celebrating the deaths of 50,000,000 unborn babies since 72. What a world.

I was with you until you mentioned "50,000,000 unborn babies".  Maybe you should rephrase that with something about killing people in war.  Because the definition of a living being is apparently lost on you.
