The full wordsalad and this is written and edited. Truly a sight to be hold. I miss her.

I encourage others to step out in faith, jump out of the comfort zone, and broaden our reach as believers in American exceptionalism. That means broadening our audience. I'm taking my own advice here as I free up opportunities to share more broadly the message of the beauty of freedom and the imperative of defending our republic and restoring this most exceptional nation. We can't just preach to the choir; the message of liberty and true hope must be understood by a larger audience.
Focus on the 2014 election is also imperative. It's going to be like 2010, but this time around we need to shake up the GOP machine that tries to orchestrate away too much of the will of constitutional conservatives who don't give a hoot how they do it in DC

And when they do that, they will be greeted by the big wide scary world of Obama's America, full of people from all over the world, or from their own back yard, who disagree with them and think they're full of crap for preaching nonsense at them.

And then they'll get angry, scared, and run back to the computer and post crap about the morally decaying world, and then they'll organize rallies and vote for the derpiest candidate they can find.

2013-01-31 10:38:49 AM
Sounds like we could be near the 14th minute of her fame.

2013-01-31 10:39:05 AM
Yeah, broadening to whom? I'm sure all those people in other, unexceptional countries, will just love hearing from her.

2013-01-31 10:39:32 AM
The only thing exceptional about us is the stupidity of some of our people.

I still don't see how America is exceptional in any way aside from the fact that all my electronics are wired to work here.

Sarah WHO?

2013-01-31 10:42:18 AM
American Exceptionalism? Look, I'm from America and love it, but it's not perfect, the American government has done some evil things. Face up to it, reality is healthy for you. See the problems and fix them, don't put on rose-colored glasses and ignore them.

Just another day in the Breitbart echo chamber.

Sarah Palin has confused volume of words with of quality of statement.  She's one of these people who criticized you for using "big words" when you were kids.  Now, she thinks she can just jump into the game at 50 and pull it off.

Someone keeps forgetting that W presidency thing. But, hey, thanks for blaming the black guy!

2013-01-31 10:43:53 AM
In her Weenerss as an ex-employee of Fox News, Sarah Palin said conservatives "can't just preach to the choir" and must instead "broaden our reach."
Ms. Palin released her comments through Breitbart.com, a staunchly conservative Web site that, like Ms. Palin, spares no opportunity to criticize the news media.

That's the same audience, Sarah!

"American exceptionalism" has destroyed this country.  It's an opiate that makes the idiot masses content with being robbed of their rights, property, and future while they are busy worshiping their own faux-magnificence.  The quickest way for a society to fall into decline is to voluntarily refuse to recognize that you need to innovate.

Want to be the best country in the world?  Act like you're the second-best country in the world.

2013-01-31 10:48:54 AM
She's a media whore and pretty good at it.  So if the media is becoming more open to the idea of "broadening horizons" and she sees that as an opportunity to stay in the lime light then I'm all for that kind of talk.

/I still hate her

2013-01-31 10:49:25 AM
Exceptionalism is precisely what's wrong with the world.  You are not right, and perfect, and above criticism, just because you're you!  "Exceptionalism" is institutionalized national hubris.

It's all well and good to reach out to a broader audience, but what if you fail to convince them? Keep in mind that repetition just makes them tune you out more.

Speaking of "big words":

FTFA: Ms. Palin didn't mention Fox by name, nor did the person who asked her questions, Stephen K. Bannon, the maker of a hagiographical documentary about her.

Definition of HAGIOGRAPHY
1
: biography of saints or venerated persons
2
: idealizing or idolizing biography

I don't want to hear another goddamned word about the Left looking at Obama as a "savior" or whatnot. That is some stupid bullsh*t right there.

2013-01-31 10:51:44 AM
I don't understand these people's idea of American exceptionalism. To them America is great and can do no wrong and if you criticize her you are a traitor and think America is terrible and you apologize for her.* You can't say that something is not great lets change it and make it great. Their whole reason why America is exceptional seems to be because it is that's why.
* does not apply while Democratic Party is in power.

I, for one, love the term "Mooselini"

2013-01-31 10:52:58 AM
Good god, that's the most meaningless string of incoherence to ever precede the words "American exceptionalism."

Considering how that phrase gets thrown around, Mrs. Palin has made quite the achievement.

2013-01-31 10:53:42 AM
What exactly is "american exceptionalism?"  Is it just the philosophy that America is particularly, inherently awesome, and the rest of the world sucks and is inferior by comparison?

You know who else thought that one particular country was better than the rest of the world?

In a couple of years, the only steady gig Palin will be able to get will be riling up the crowds at white supremacist rallies.  The woman's future is only as bright as the woman herself.

I guess technically Breitbart's gone and joined the "choir invisible", so perhaps that's what she meant.

So she's looking for a job with another network? Good luck with that. I don't think there's another Fox News-level conservative station out there with a spare million dollars to give her. MSNBC already has Joe Scarborough, why would they want Caribou Barbie when their core audience wants nothing to do with her and her core audience wouldn't watch MSNBC on a bet?

On the other hand, I understand that the local Wasilla TV station might need a new weather girl.

This was the part that made me laugh the most. Does this mean she'll start "writing" for the Washington Times and doing interviews with Krauthammer?

You mean, a couple years ago? Oh, how silly, I forgot, the Tea Party's about the deficit and the economy, which is why this number cruncher was such a darling among them.

Nah, she'll be in demand for Grand Openings at Pancake Huts in remote parts of Alaska. Then one day she'll show up as a hitchhiker on Season 22 of Ice Road Truckers and the producers won't even recognize her.

I think its value is in telling a fat, couch potato in Bemidji that he's better than his International Falls equivalent.  This, as any conman will tell you, primes the Bemidji mark for placing his trust in you.

The only thing that was good about that atrocity Iron Sky is the Sarah Palin clone of a president. Your comment just reminded me.

Obligatory: And yeah you, sorority girl, just in case you accidentally wander into a voting booth one day, there are some things you should know. And one of them is there is absolutely no evidence to support the statement that we're the greatest country in the world. We're 7th in literacy, 27th in math, 22nd in science, 49th in life expectancy, 178th in infant mortality, third in median household income, number four in labor force and number four in exports. We lead the world in only three categories. Number of incarcerated citizens per capita, number of adults who believe angels are real and defense spending where we spend more than the next 26 countries combined 25 of whom are allies. Now none of this is the fault of a 20 year-old college student but you nonetheless are without a doubt a member of the worst period generation period ever period. So when you ask what makes us the greatest country in the world, I don't know what the [[BLEEP!]] you're talking about. Yosemite?

Leaving the comfort zone means rather explicitly contradicting everything the party faithful has been spouting for the past four years now.

And since the Dems already have that covered... good luck.
