I think outside of Lancelot Link and Mata Hairy, Ham is the coolest chimp ever.

Ham, you're a rocket full of sass and dynamite and with me as your agent we're going to shoot straight past the mooooooooooon!

I remember this one. You have to activate the AOE beam as Wolf!Link and bite all its legs in one pass.

I'll read this later when I'm out to launch.

I liked that movie My Life as A Dog, where the kid is obsessed with what happened to Laika the Space Pooch.

It must have been sometime after this flight that they put the cockpit in the nose cone.

That is the only movie that ever made me cry.  Ever.  Saw it twice and it had the same effect both times.  I just found it really, really sad.

The story they told us at Kennedy Space Center is that Ham was almost untrainable until he took his first rocket ride.  After that he was very manageable.  You see, his one job in space was to press the blue button for food.  If he pressed the red button he'd get an electrical shock.  Sadly, for him, the system messed up on the way up and for the entire ride he was shocked.  He was never so happy as when they released him from his shock seat.  Never gave them problems again.

I have been and I agree.  I remember how beautiful the scenery was flying Phoenix-Nashville-Birmingham.  It must be even more amazing to see the scenery from Hadfield's POV.

That article brings back memories.  I grew up about an hour from Huntsville and I remember hearing about Baker (I was 12 when he died).  I think I may have seen him when he was alive, though I'm not sure.
