"China's leaders have spent $125 billion to provide basic insurance to 95% of the population."

What is that - about $100 per person?

I thought rhino horn went for a helluva lot more.

Regulation is only a barrier to the invisible hand of the free market.  Once all their customers die, faith will be restored in the capitalist system and all will be well.

You "could" wait for the proper authorities but think of your credit rating - not just your health!

125 billion dollars is a hundred bucks a person over there.

I backtraced it to a counterfeit IP address in Guangzhou.  It was behind seven proxies.

I was thinking China made Medix ambulances which are like ambulances only badly made. I am now going to see if China would allow for a foreign entity to operate in Beijing.

If only the paranoid weaselly little clones that run the Chinese government took all the effort they waste putting into propaganda, snooping, suppression of free speech, media / internet censorship and trying to rattle their pitiful sabres and instead use these resources to fix these problems...

But, hey, harassing their ordinary citizens is much more fun.

Last year, a privately run ambulance owner in the Chinese city of Wuhan was fined $28,900 after judges determined he contributed to the death of a man in need of heart surgery after he locked the patient in the vehicle and turned off the air conditioner during an argument with the patients' relatives, the Global Times report said.

The ambulance owner only received a fine ?!? shouldn't he have been jailed for manslaughter ?

We aren't that much different here.  Here that would be call "Privatizing" not counterfeiting.

I'm not so sure the clones know what fun is.

Mind you considering their last 150ish years I could understand why they are desperate to stop outside influences and internal issues - even if it is at the point of the bayonet or $.

Article claims that this event is true based on... number of results for it on an internet search. Bad journalism, no being taken seriously for you!

Nothing To See Here: Have you ever seen their Fire Drills?

Heh, so this one time (in High School, not band camp), we were all sitting in the car stuck in what we believed to be traffic and we pulled a CFD. Turns out cops at an accident scene do NOT find them funny.

/Came here to say "Ambulai?"
