gilatrout: Starring Leroy Jenkins!?I might pay to see that.
jso2897: gilatrout: Starring Leroy Jenkins!?I might pay to see that. You and me both know that this pile of celluloid dogshiat will have a "Leroy Jenkins" joke in it, somewhere.
xanadian: World of Warcraft? MOVIE!??STOP IT!!!*biatchslaps Hollywood*
Crudbucket: Source Code was great, even though I feel bad for the guy Jake Gyllenhaal wipes out of existence at the end.
enry: moon sucked
PanicMan: WoW pissed me off so much. If you send me to kill dragons to get dragon brains, every dragon should drop a brain. Not a sword. Not leather pants. A brain.
Shadowknight: /long rant
LordJiro: GameSprocket: karmachameleon: I'm not trolling or being sarcastic. If you like "Tomb Raider" of "Final Fantasy", that's fine, but those are the <i>best</i> video game movies that Hollywood has had to offer."Final Fantasy" was really only game-related in title. "Silent Hill" was not bad from a pure spooky movie aspect. I hadn't played the game at all, but the movie built up a fascinating environment. I had the air raid siren from there as my ring tone for a bit.Assuming you mean "Spirits Within"...it's just as related to Final Fantasy as any other Final Fantasy game is related to the others (aside from X2 and XIII-2). FF games haven't exactly had a lot in common with eachother lately, aside from the title and a character named Cid.
xaks: Bontesla: I stopped playing Wow two years ago. Rarely do I get the itch any more. I just couldn't justify spending that money every month when there were so many other things I wanted to do with that money. If $12 or $15 bucks a month is breaking your entertainment budget, you have bigger problems than liking WoW.Be honest.
tbhouston: Bontesla: I stopped playing Wow two years ago. Rarely do I get the itch any more. I just couldn't justify spending that money every month when there were so many other things I wanted to do with that money.yah bro I feel you...like a soda every other day..or one movie ticket or 4 gallons of gasIt's so nice to free up that $180 a year, let me tell you...
usernameguy: texdent: Half the movie is going to be about mining, enchanting, skinning, etc.The other half will be people hurling racial slurs.
Darth_Lukecash: Mortal Kombat was entertainingly good. Not artistic, but fun.
Dinobot: usernameguy: texdent: Half the movie is going to be about mining, enchanting, skinning, etc.The other half will be people hurling racial slurs. And the sex scene takes place in goldshire
GameSprocket: I had the air raid siren from there as my ring tone for a bit.
Tax Boy: The Epic Story of oppressed orc peons in their quest for economic justice:OCCUPY GREG STREETThey were promised a pony.
Shadowknight: usernameguy: texdent: Half the movie is going to be about mining, enchanting, skinning, etc.The other half will be people hurling racial slurs.Surely some percentage will be Chuck Norris jokes, right? Because those NEVER get old.
Grand PBUH: Shadowknight: usernameguy: texdent: Half the movie is going to be about mining, enchanting, skinning, etc.The other half will be people hurling racial slurs.Surely some percentage will be Chuck Norris jokes, right? Because those NEVER get old.Yes.I will be going to this movie opening night and start yelling out Chuck Norris jokes at random right about 1/4 way through the movie. Then I will tell the people shushing me to stfu noob.At the end, I'm going to complain about how there are no extra bonus scenes during or immediately after the end credits after I paid really good money on my advance-purchase movie ticket. Then, when they add 100 hours of extras and commentary to the dvd set, I will complain about how quickly I went through it and how boring it was to watch.
Grand PBUH: Yes.
thecpt: Crudbucket: Source Code was great, even though I feel bad for the guy Jake Gyllenhaal wipes out of existence at the end.technically that guy would be dead anyways. Don't feel too bad.Came here to say SC was a pleasant sci fi twist surprise.
Joelogon: What was wrong with Source Code? Plus, bonus points for being David Bowie's son.
ib_thinkin: Especially when you can play League of Legends for free.
thecpt: enry: moon suckedI can easily see how its not your thing, especially if you're not a fan of the genre (kind of a niche one, slow space sci fi). Nevertheless, he did the best movie that genre has seen in awhile so I'd still expect good things from him.
Crudbucket: I mean at the very end of the film, when Gyllenhaal stops the bomber in the parallel universe and goes on to live happily ever after with Michelle Monaghan. She doesn't know he's Jake Gyllenaal, she thinks he's still Sean Fentriss, the guy who's body he Quantum Leaped into. That guy's been blinked out of existence now, and no one even knows it. Gyllenhaal is wearing Sean Fentriss's face, banging Sean Fentriss's dream girl, living in Sean Fentriss's house and celebrating the holidays from here on out with Sean Fentriss's family. And Monaghan, she has no idea that this guy isn't the same guy she's been flirting with on the train every morning. The movie is a huge WTF tragedy from Sean Fentriss's perspective.
PsyLord: The whole concept of Source Code was just too much of a leap of faith for me to take. Seriously, the premise is that some nearly dead brains can sync up with people that die in the past? And they try to explain this with quantum mumbo-jumbo? Seriously? To be honest, it thought it was more plausible that the whole thing to be in Jake's mind. He's having a really weird near death dream/delusion. For instance, have you ever have a recurring dream that was a little different each time?
thecpt: I guess my glass is half full.
Soulcatcher: I played WoW for 5 years, and for 4 of those years I really loved it. The last year it started feeling like a job. My ex and I ran a 300+ person guild on Undermine (Cake or Death) for 2 1/2 or 3 years and the farking guild DRAMA is enough to make you want to drown yourself in the toilet. I made it to about 4 months into Cataclysm and realized I never wanted to log in again (the goblin starting area quests were awesome though and Vash'jr was amazingly beautiful). Everything just started to feel like such a grind, and the thought of raising another 75 points of engineering/mining on one character and enchanting/tailoring AGAIN on another was just depressing. Too much farming and grinding and guildmates crying about raid rotations.
Krab: namatad:and people stealing their tagsAnd this is why I love guild wars.2. Everyone gets credit who hits it and everyone gets the node.
fisker: ever since I got windows 8, I am further losing touch with fark
