On the plus side he has a twin brother, the perfect alibi. Although that guy is just a much trouble since he ruined that gameshow at the mall one time. I guess those guys have to just keep L-I-V-I-N.

CastorTroy: Tim Lincecum was great in that movie.

Knowing nothing about baseball, I did a GIS for Tim Lincecum and then had to go look up Dazed and Confused to confirm it wasn't the same person. Resemblance is eerie.

Random story, but I am finally working on my list of my TOP 500 songs. I listened to it yesterday to see if it would make the cut. (it was my favorite song for awhile in 86/87)

Nope.

I recorded it off the radio onto cassette! Old school.

Here's what I think of every time I hear that song:
I was in JHS when that song came out. One day a bunch of my friends and I were hanging out at the Pizza Hut eating pizza and playing video games. (Remember when every pizza place had a small arcade and jukebox.) Anyway, I put in a five in the jukebox and queued "Word Up" all 20 times in a row. After about the 11th time playing, the manager came out, grabbed the jukebox and shook it, giving the 'ol record scratch, then went back behind the counter.

My long CSB.

I did that...it was Hysteria by Def Leppard.  And the manager kicked the jukebox.

Man, those were the days...pizza hut/inn dine in, box video games where I played Jouse and Pacman.

Now I feel old.

HA NICE!

I don't what is about playing that song a bunch of times in a row...but my CSB is similar. I was in 6th grade and for some damn reason I brought my dual cassette boombox (hahaha) on the bus and we played that song the whole way to school and on the way home. Play. Rewind. Play. Rewind. Play. Rewind. Probably about 11 times.

Everybody loved it.

Not sure if that word is used in the correct context, definitely sure I don't care, but like him or not Ben hasn't floundered in complete and utter failure since then.

Nice. I hope to have it done in the next week or so. Many times when we are hanging out a song will come on and we would say "top 10, top 100 or whatever. Once, a decent song came on and said "Top 500 easy". We all laughed and now it has become a personal mission.

I don't know what it means, but I am having fun doing it. I want to write little descriptions of why I like the songs and whatnot...and the preface will be something like"

I was born in 1976. My musical upbringing is based on my time and my place. It is dependent on friends and family that exposed me to certain things at certain times. I was in high school and college in the 90s. This is going to have an effect on my favorites. I have not heard every song by every artist. This is the highlights.

I love music. All of these songs are personal to my subjective taste. Maybe we will see eye to eye on many songs. But if your favorite band is Bon Jovi or Dave Matthews you are going to have a bad time. And if you want a trendy anthology of modern American music just go to Rolling Stone.com."

hahahaha

Also, if your favorite band is Cannibal Corpse or Pig Destroyer, this list is going to suck.

Adjust accordingly.
