(Uproxx)   China is crazy about the sitcom Friends. How crazy? So much so that a Chinese version is in the works called Planet Homebuddies. Joey-san asks, "你怎么样?"   (uproxx.com) divider line 50

There could be a Japanese character on a Chinese "Friends." Same way the American version had black primary characters.

"Nimen"? Why would you make it plural?

dittybopper

You want the emphasis on 你 (assuming you meant "how you doin'?").

That would be nin3 (您), not nimen, and would not be appropriate usage in this context.

Love Apartment is the Chinese version of The Big Bang Theory. There are videos online made by Chinese to compare the two. Some scenes were directly copied by Chinese.

There is quite a lot of concern about environmental issues in China, or at least in the part of China I recently visited.

KFC is very popular there - I saw many KFC outlets and Starbucks but only 1 McDonalds.

The show wasn't funny, but the chicks were hot and the guys should have all been killed.
