dukwbutter: I think that they will have some control over the sign's commercial use. Colorado used a photo of Wyoming's Tetons promoting tourism in Colorado. Wyoming sued and won.

Well, wouldn't you be upset if someone was sending around photos of your Tetons?

nekom: If it's so "iconic" how come I've never heard of it before this in my life?  Granted I'm way on the other side of the country, but I am keenly aware of the iconic "Hollywood" sign, the famous Vegas signs and others.  Never heard of this.
