As a former Conyers resident myself, the portrayal of Stone Mountain is so hilariously inaccurate and misguided that I can only assume that it is meant to be one big inside joke.

I didn't know his 'real' name was Dick Whitman.  heh.

It was. It was written by the Donald Glover before he switched to acting and starred in Community. He grew up there.

Is there some kind of inside joke about Mikey Rourke?

Jenna says stuff out of the blue about Mikey Rourke but I haven't seen him on the show yet. Does he ever make an appearance? Y'know how Matt Damon recently took over the Jimmy Kimmel show because they pretend to be feuding but in real life are good friends. Is the actress who plays Jenna friends with Mikey like how Affleck and Kevin Smith are buddies in real life?

I've only seen the first 5 season on Netflix and I never knew the actor who plays Don Draper could be so funny. Alec and Tina are genius's!!! The Live episodes were the best.

I like all the hints that Kenneth is immortal. Maybe we'll find out the truth tonight.

I highly recommend the episodes of SNL that John Hamm hosts. He is way too funny to only do serious work. I don't think it was an episode he hosted, but he was also very funny in the live action "Ambiguously Gay Duo" sketch they did a few seasons ago.

How did they make an entire video and not reference that?

One of my favorite scenes is when a bunch of the characters were playing cards and Jack couldn't read Kenneth. It was a nice heavy handed hint that Kenneth is a lot like Jack but smarter/darker/sinister/cleverer (is that a word?)

Yup, my parents live in Stone Mountain, and I recently moved to Conyers. Bonus: Jack McBrayer is from Conyers, his mom was my roommate's sex ed teacher, and his dad was my roommate's gym coach. I had heard DOnald Glover was from Stone Mountain, I didn't know he was a writer for 30 Rock, or that he had written all those terribly absurd things about it.

Makes more sense now, and since he's from Stone Mountain, he gets a pass.

Well, all shows can't be as side-splittingly funny as Family Guy.

One of those weird coincidences, like when two meteor movies come out in the same year. Or two volcano movies. Or two Snow White live-action productions, SERIOUSLY, GUYS! CAN YOU NOT COORDINATE ON THESE THINGS?

I was waiting for Josh Malina and Lisa Edelstein to make their obligatory appearances.

And what does a guy have to do to get Sabrina Lloyd some more air time?

From the beginning, the things Kenneth has said about his people and where he grew up have been so completely over the top that there's no way anyone could take what he said seriously.

Or just too naive and good to understand the concept of deception for gain. Totally confusing for Jack in that situation. Kenneth plays every hand as if everyone else can see it.

I saw a theory somewhere that Kenneth is a Time Lord, and 30 Rock is his TARDIS. I sincerely doubt anything like that would happen, but it's amusing to think about.

I like "30 Rock", but you're point is well-taken. Sometimes it's a little bit too self-aware, and a little to convinced of it's own cleverness.

It's good that it's ending

I laugh at 30 Rock most of the time, but sometimes it feels like that time when all the cool kids back in high school put on a play during the pep rally... everyone claps and applauds because who the people are, not necessarily because what was said was funny.

I still enjoy it, though.

Isn't that the same episode when Jack says "In five years we'll all either be working for him or dead by his hand"?

It is. Of course, that is also a show where a guy wants to impregnate cornbread, so take the line with a grain of salt.
