Reminds me of Nick Swardson's standup where he was talking about how he and his friends were getting so into the game screaming at each other that the neighbor thought they were making violent gay porn every night.

DEATH DOES NOT WORK THAT WAY!

It does in Call of Duty Saturday. You haven't played it; you don't know.

Nickninja: My former roommates once thought I was having a huge, violent fight with my girlfriend. She was screaming profanities intermixed with 'I'm sorry'.

It was a UT2004 marathon, and she kept instajib launching me into death.

A similar thing happened to me in college, only it was with Halo. Back in the day smack talk used to be so vicious that you frightened your neighbors. These days all the kids just keep squeeking into their headsets that I'm "gay". It's a disappointing lack of creativity, and not even an insult anymore really. I blame the schools.

Easy to tell this didn't happen in America, there would have been multiple arrests/beat-downs and the family dog would have been shot.

UsikFark: Back in the day you could crank up the sound so the speakers threw the monitor out of whack and everyone on the block could enjoy your game of Doom.

My brother has a nice set up. A ridiculous surround system with 2 subwoofers. He lives in podunk PA so he can blast it as loud as he wants. When I visited him, he gave me the controller for a game of MW2 and I got a stealth bomber. It was probably the most realistic experience of the killstreak considering I was shaking where I stood.

I'm playing "call of duty now". Oops I'm meant "call of duty" now. Coincidence.

It would have been a better story if, when the 10 policeman raid busted in, the kids all grabbed their real guns and had a shootout with the police squad as a result of their conditioning by violent video games. The media wouldn't even know which possible direction of many to spin it.
