So the last hour was good but my god, this could go stupid really fast.

Bork/Punk/Paul could be the new nWo...Cena heel turn at WM 29?

2013-01-28 11:13:28 PM
Ahahaha, I kind of love the YOU GOT BUSTED! chant

Vince: Oh shiat ... I forgot about that guy I paid to be here

2013-01-28 11:13:46 PM

Triple Oak: Now, will they actually do something with Brock this time?

On the next Raw Roulette show, there will be a Jimmy John's eating contest.

Grand_Moff_Joseph: Horrible show, but Bork and Y2J saved us a bit.

Good thread, folks!

Definitely that - cheers, all!

RevMercutio: More of a waddle.

*snert*

TheManofPA: Dammit I miss that show and those threads. If they ever do a movie, I wish there was some way to do a running thread of the movie

You know I'd be down for that!

TheManofPA: By WWE standards, if you attack Vince before he fires you, you don't get fired.

It's true.

David Otunga can cite legal precedent for this.

Ok...off to bed...i actually have a real commute tomorrow instead of my 8min drive to the office. How awesome that Trish is in the HOF.

2013-01-28 11:14:24 PM
So when is Taker coming back again?

2013-01-28 11:14:28 PM
OK, so it was a VERY mediocre show, especially coming off of a major PPV like the Rumble, but the following more than saved it:

- Jericho's face speech (although I prefer Heel Jericho)
- DBD/Kane vs Ziggles/Jericho
- Trish in any shape/form
- Bork w/ the F5 on the ChairGramps of the Board (and Paul E. selling the hell out of it!)
- Punk not playing nice with anyone

I'm sure I've missed something, but these are the things I'm taking away from it. In spite of itself, it was an OK show...

Bork/Punk/Paul could be the new nWo...Cena heel turn at WM 29?

YES! By now they have to realize Cena has no place to go but heel. Have him go all out heel on Rock at WM in the 3 way match with Punk by having The Shield come out and job them all. Reveal himself to be the mastermind all along. Better Hogan 2.0 than this non stop face that no one likes (over the age of 10)

But it's because of the ten and unders that I doubt that's ever going to happen. He moves too much merchandise (especially with his rainbow of colours, and endless combinations with various shades of said colours) to ever go heel. At least, that seems to be the reason why no one's pulling the trigger.

I miss his thug/white rapper heel persona. It was deliciously hilarious.

They can sell'em all Sheamus stuff or something. The kiddies will mark out for the next hero regardless. They're gonna have to replace Cena in that role someday anyway. In the meantime imagine all the merch they'll move to adult smarks who'd gladly wear anti-hero gear if nothing else to rub it in the face of everyone who ever chanted the 1st half of "LET'S GO CENA..."

Again I say MUHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

Good post from an FWC member, on the FB:

"1 year ago, Ryder was US Champ, Punk WWE Champ, Bryan World Champ, Cody IC Champ, and Air Boom the Tag Champs. Now we're going to see Cena win his 12th world title from 41 year old, part timer Rock at 'Mania, and Orton vs Sheamus is rumored to have the Big Gold involved. That's not predictability. We've time warped back to 2009."

Sad, but very true.

Had to sleep, but I claim my wizard hat. It gets bigger if Triple Gagne appears to rechallenge Brock

2013-01-29 07:53:05 AM
Dirtsheets are saying WWE spoiled Brock's return beforehand, because they have to hump Twitter and Youtube irrespective of merits.

2013-01-29 08:05:34 AM
After Raw:

- Vince did a stretcher job for Brock.

- WWE.com kayfabed a pelvis injury for him.

- Stephanie McMahon was filmed following Vince to the ambulance.

So you know with Stephanie involved, it's only a matter of time before THE GAME-AHH, THIS BUSINESS-AHH gets involved.

2013-01-29 08:11:39 AM
So, I missed a Vinnie Mac F5??? It was worth going to sleep early, as I was exhausted.

I just scanned here at the office.  Nice shot from Punk to Rock about being at house shows.

Twinkie tits = definitely not PG

And Heyman sold that whole situation with Bork Laser and Vince so well.

I am sure there is a perfetcly logica......

Ok there isn't. There is no logical explanation Ziggles didn't cash in on ADR last night after the duct tape was taken off.

WWE is now finally bordering on TNA levels of idiotic farking logic.

I swear if I had a Nielsen box in my house I'd not watch either show at this point.

Interacting with Mainland and Japan are really the only reason I keep watching.

I want to reiterate this one more time:

For months - months - every smark on a message board has fantasy booked Punk being behind the Shield, hiring Brad Maddox to throw the Ryback match, and having Heyman keep Brock's number just in case. Last night WWE did all of those things. It wasn't perfect, but rarely anything WWE does comes close to that.

Now watch people complain about it anyway. Even though this is precisely what they wanted and jerked off to all last season.

We've got angry, heel Punk on the chase for the belt, with Brock putting Vince on the shelf, and the Shield remaining untouchable.

It's not exactly like every fantasy booker wanted, but it's happening. WWE gave you what you wanted.

Commence complaining anyway in 5...4...3...2...

I'm not complaining about where all that is going.  I never really cared who was behind S.H.I.E.L.D. as long as Ambrose got air time.  I'm just wondering where they are going with Ziggles cashing in the briefcase.

If it's after the Sheamus/Orton WHC at Wrestlemania, that would be pretty interesting, but that would mean The River will lose the strap pretty soon.  So the WHC will be changing hands quite a bit to start the year.

At this point the briefcase, and the fictional contract supposedly contained therein, is its own title, and it's actually more prestigious than the other subgrade belts, because not only has Dolph held it longer than any other title he's had, he's retained it against SuperCena.

WWE has shown there's no time limit on cashing in the contract; that you can in fact lose MITB after having won it, and never get the chance to cash in your title shot. How is MITB not a title in and of itself at this point? It is in every way except it's a briefcase, not a belt. It's still a Macguffin though, and still a gimmick. Just like a belt.

For my money Dolph has spent the last several months holding the third most prestigious title in WWE.

I didn't want to be "that guy" but I'm glad someone else did. I'm on hold and bored enough that I finally looked into one of these threads to see WTF the discussion was about. It just flabbergasts me that anyone, anywhere, ever, in the entire course of human history finds fake wrestling worthy of their time. Yet these are among the most well populated threads. It buggers the imagination.

That's alot of convincing yourself. I refuse to put in such effort.

It's farking dumb. There is no logic that WWE has shown to suggest you are correct. If they even HINTED at that being where they were going with it, I'd be onboard. They haven't. You are using more logic then they are.

I missed the show because of working ;_; but it looks like it was fun here lol! I watched some videos on YouTube. I am confused, did CM Punk challenge The Rock or did The Rock challenge CM Punk? I do not understand why The Rock would challenge CM Punk or want to fight him again? He is fighting John Cena at Wrestlemania! (?_?)
