Who am I to judge? I might not have been hitting up McD's, but my eating habits weren't much better... And I am fat for it. I changed my eating habits and now go on a walk every day. 17 pounds lost and counting.

/I sound fat.
//But not for long!

xynix: Also kind of relevant because I had a "McMuffin" this morning. Home made.. On an Ezekiel 4:9 organic sprouted whole grain muffin, organic eggs - locally sourced from a farm about 20 miles away, organic cheese of course - locally sourced from Harmony Farms in north Georgia.. It's not hard to make something yummy that is also healthy and unprocessed. Eating like that is a big reason why I weight the same as I did when I was 19.

But your serum smug levels are at a near fatal level

All that shiat you mentioned is "processed", just in a way suitable for your individual pretenses.

Oops, that should be:

Not to mention, the distinction of "organic" is really just a buzzword for people who don't know what they're talking about in terms of what does or doesn't make a food better quality.

"Organic" eggs? Never mind how silly the phrase itself sounds, but what really matters is the diet of the hens - whether they're grain fed or grass fed. Same for the cheese, the "organic" monicker doesn't reveal anything helpful about the quality of the product, what really matters is the diet and lifestyle of the dairy cows.

YouPeopleAreCrazy: xynix: My families diet consists mostly of fast food and they all have high blood pressure, they're grossly overweight and I mean morbidly obese, they have major health problems.

Everything in moderation. Including 'organic', and 'vegan'.

You are missing his point. xynix eats burgers. Grass-fed not corn-fed. He eats eggs. From free range not concentration camp chickens. He eats quite well thank you without moderating it with Frankenfoods, and has the results vs the rest of his family to prove it

Krikkitbot: What the hell is a stone? Why can't they stick with one measuring unit? Is it too hard to use pounds for everything that they have to use pounds only for some things while using stone for others? All the while trying to determine whether to keep teaching the metric system in schools?

Eh, you would also complain if they used kilographs.

You do know organic food is no better for you than regular, right?

Oh, and Ezekiel bread/muffins are way overpriced

The mirror has finally gotten to the point where it is probably paying people to do stupid/outrageous/silly stuff for a year or so, then doing an article about them.
