xynix: Also kind of relevant because I had a "McMuffin" this morning. Home made.. On an Ezekiel 4:9 organic sprouted whole grain muffin, organic eggs - locally sourced from a farm about 20 miles away, organic cheese of course - locally sourced from Harmony Farms in north Georgia.. It's not hard to make something yummy that is also healthy and unprocessed. Eating like that is a big reason why I weight the same as I did when I was 19.

I also need to bite

St_Francis_P: They sound look fat grotesquely obese.

If I ate that little, I'd start to black out in the middle of the day.

Not all big eaters are fat, some of us just process a lot of calories every day.

I will admit that this winter has not been kind to me. My waist is up to 33" now.

What the hell is a stone? Why can't they stick with one measuring unit? Is it too hard to use pounds for everything that they have to use pounds only for some things while using stone for others? All the while trying to determine whether to keep teaching the metric system in schools?

You are Borg: Send them up north to some camps, they'll fit right in and lose more weight!

Yeah I was thinking this.

But I should've been thinking this:

Hah, still about 15 years to late with that style, don't see much of it around here.

since I was one of "those kids" back then.

And apparently losing the weight turned the wife into a lumberjack lesbian.

There didn't seem to be any particular "addiction" to McDonalds...sounded more like just two lazy, excessively self-indulgent people who aborted their quest for the Jabba the Hutt couples award.

If I ate nothing but expensive fatty food absent of substantial nutrients, I'd look like that too.

We speak both languages here. Many things are designed, specified, measured, bought, and sold in metric.

/funny how many people who complain about the pervasiveness of English also demand everyone speak the same measuring system

Three mcmuffins a day for breakfast? They must have passed enough bricks to build their own house, heaven forbid anyone wants to live in a house made of poo bricks.

They only gave up their gorging when they were turned away from every ride at Butlins in front of their crying family, because both were too fat to do up the safety belts.

Holy crap-Butlin's is still around? ... does a quick Google...Well, they are technically owned by your basic faceless entertainment conglomerate.

Well, Hi-de-Hi!

Carry on....

Well if you were motivated enough (and have a strong stomach) maybe you could go for the Jabba the Hutt solo award...there's usually more competition for that one though.

The only reason they don't blame the glands or the hormones or whatever is the fact that they actually did something for themselves and lost their weight.

The only reason fatties stay fatty is that they don't do anything about it, and in the process keep sucking in cheeseburgers.

My mother-in-law eats McDs sausage biscuits every day on the way to, and shes 5'4 and well over 300 lbs. Shes also been known to eat an entire box of Oreos in a sitting. She lives an entirely sedentary lifesyle, even her job allows her to be sitting all day. Add in the 2 packs of cigarettes a day and she has pretty much every bad thing you can do to your body covered.

Somehow shes still not dead.

Good for you Honest Bender. I'm proud of you. And don't you beat yourself up if you back-slide on a meal, it's no big deal. 3 meals a day 7 days a week 21 meals. if you only fark up once that's not so bad. Good on you, mate. You're going to look fantastic in a new wardrobe!
