I mean, Jesus, you do realize that to talk to the Titans he needed permission FROM the league, right? Permission he got on December 31, the beginning of the hiring cycle, to talk to any teams that would have him? The friggin' press statement on his reinstatement is perfunctory at this point, but if you want to dig in the heels of your clownshoes on that point, go right ahead.
