This guy plays the victim so often he should be a Fark Independent.

Look, denying civil rights to homosexuals, interfering with a woman's right to health care, shaming a grad student who dared to ask if one of her prescriptions could be covered by state health insurance, blocking the President at every turn, and turning a blind eye to genocide in countries without oil is not enough to make us the bad guys, all right?

And the republicans continue their long journey of self-unawareness.

"[Obama] needs to delegitimize the Republican Party

Nope. You guys are doing a bang-up job of that all on your own.

Whine more.

2013-01-26 06:02:03 PM
Wow. This guy is a real prize for his party. They are lucky to have him.

/What a dick.

FTFA:"We can't get rattled," he continued. "We won't play the villain in his morality plays. We have to stay united. We have to show that-if given the chance-we can govern. We have better ideas."

So Mr. Ryan, if you care so much about not being the villain why did you vote against hurricane sandy relief bill?

2013-01-26 06:29:15 PM
Aww, Cruella De Ville is worried about his reputation? Gee, that's too bad.

You had the chance to govern, you jackass.

It's called recording what you people say verbatim. Underhanded tactic, I know.

Say the man from the party that ran with the concept of "death panels."

2013-01-26 06:39:55 PM
We won't play the villain in his morality plays.

This would be a more convincing statement if you didn't keep taking the country hostage for political gain.

And why is he constantly introducing/sponsoring legislation that at the very least, punishes rape victims, if it doesn't fully come out in favor of rape/rapists? It turns out that many people will see you as the villain in that "morality play" as most of us find rape and rapists morally reprehensible.

I wish President Obama had figured out that the Republican Party has gone off the rails and cannot be worked with sooner.  We'd all be much better off.

Go do some more PX90, you sore loser asshole.

When I think of compassion and compromise, I think of the GOP's recent track record.

Why does Paul Ryan come across as being so damn gay? And he looked 10 times as much when they put him next to Romney because Romney is pretty macho.

Don't call me right wing that's offensive.

You are confused, it was Ryan that made Romney look macho.

I heard that it will be an uphill battle for Ryan to win his re-election for his seat...any truth to that?

Considering the rumor that the real reason Jeri Ryan dumped him was that he wanted to play public sex games with her and a bunch of his friends involving bondage, seems like he's obsessed with punishing all women for her not giving it up to him and a dozen of his buddies while she was tied up and couldn't get away..

Not to worry, Romney was very good at that kind of stuff. Do not feel bad.

No.

How do you like that answer, Ryan? What are you going to do about it?

Paul Ryan: "What I'm saying is, if we want to promote conservatism, we'll need to use every tool at our disposal."

Paul Ryan is a tool.

Unlikely. His district was redrawn to include ultra-conservative Waukesha County. They'll vote him back into office in 2014 just to spite liberals.

Karma is a biatch.

Act like bigoted, obstructionist, conspiracy-nut assholes and people will start to react negatively to you.

Criticism and descent are fine. Clinging to the way things were is understandable.
When you do nothing but those two things, and do it blindly and brazenly, people will start to get sick of your shiat and think that you're not worth their time.

Obama didn't do this. You have done this to yourselves.

2013-01-26 07:36:36 PM
Hey, buddy, I got some bad news for you...

2013-01-26 07:37:49 PM
Holy crap. Ryan's trying to chart a course to where it's OK for repubs to compromise.

It's easy to portray you as "cruel and unyielding" when you act cruel and unyielding.

Jesus, please - wrong Ryan.

Don't put mental images like that in my head, you cruel bastard.

This damn mirror makes me look like a villain! I refuse to believe what it shows me!

2013-01-26 07:41:48 PM
Why, I remember when politicians could lie to the people and not worry about the consequences, Just gin up the next outrage and we were off to the races. People thought they were patriotic because when they were about to find out about their gay lover, they could pick on some immigrants or start a war and the people would love them for it. Now its as if everything someone says is recorded forever and broadcast all over the planet.

/ Funny how fostering a culture of surveillance and paranoia can come back to bite one in the @$$
