LeBron looks to be having a  lot more fun playing there...

Damn. Pudgy dude in the yellow swished that shot.

He's like a kid out there.

I remember people used to argue about what position he would have been best at in the NFL. WR or LB both seem like positions he could dominate in.

It was pretty easy to hate on Lebron because of the Decision. In hindsight, it looks more like a bad idea with good intentions. Lebron seems to be a genuinely good guy with a big heart.

/I know, Cleveland, I know. It's ok.

After the game in the finals where LeBron sank a 3 pointer to put his team ahead while suffering what had to be a boatload of pain from muscle cramps, I refuse to talk bad about him.

The only cool thing I've ever done playing basketball was making that shot, in very much the same way, from the opposing free throw line.

/I suck at teh basketball.
//6'3", too...

He certainly has the proper physique to play multiple positions in several sports. Pro Volleyball, Boxing, UFC, and would be a great QB if he could throw a ball. Awesome size and that ball would never get swatted down. I personaly don't like Lebron either, but he is built for many things besides the NBA.

I would like to see what he will persue after his career is over. Shaq had good intentions of being a cop, but how could you not outrun his old, broken down ass?

I see you sing the song of my people. I am 6'4", and lived all through high school with coaches trying to get me on the team. Now, I have people trying to recruit me for their local leagues. They don't seem to understand that I can barely dribble the ball.

/though I'm a mean rebounder

Lebron James has had a million opportunities to be an asshole and he's never once done so.

He is a class act and an athlete that kids truly should look to as an example of how to do things right.

Congrats.

After being asked innumerable times during high school if I played ball, and it was always put that way, "You play ball?" I finally came up with a good reply: "No, are you a jockey?"

/alright, yes, I was a dick in high school

I'll never defend him on "The Decision", but I challenge anyone to spend a majority of their teenage years and young adult life having their ass kissed by fans and the media like to carry themselves WITHOUT a hint of selfish pretense and self-aggrandizement. Yeah, he may have a "chosen one" tattoo, but NE Ohio and the rest of the nation more or less actually called him that before he stepped foot in the NBA.

TE.

Vernon Davis is essentially the LeBron James of the NFL in terms of freak athleticism and size anyways... well him and All Day.

Probably the most physically gifted athlete of all time. Ever, in the universe. What is he, 6'8" / 265# and can jump through the roof? Think of how bad he'd fu*k people up in a cage, bringing flying knees from 12 feet across the octagon to the heavyweight division... Jesus.

When he left, yeah, there was the anger and denial.

When the Mavs won the '11 Finals, you bet there was a lot of doing the Dougie down Ontario.

When he finally ditched LeIso and pretty much carried the Heat to a title, well, at least this Cavs fan scratched his head and went 'well, damn.' It became a lot easier to accept after he nutted up and became the guy everyone thought he was.

And if he's serious about coming back, well, the door's open.

shiat, we're Cleveland fans. We'd have cheered for Osama Bin Laden if he'd have led one of our teams to a championship. We'll take LeBron back in a heartbeat.

Bad subby. There are many reasons to hate on LBJ, but not this. Pretty cool for an NBA superstar to give you a good job.

Oh, I always got the "what's the weather up there?" line.

/but, during a trip to NYC, some cute employees at NBC asked about my height, thus giving me a reason to talk with them

Please be advised that on Fark raising money for charity while you awkwardly announce that you have decided not to keep working in Cleveland is a war crime.

Did the guy get the 75,000 or was that money get donated to Boys and Girls Club? Or did he win 75,000 and they matched that to give to Boys and Girls Club?

Subtle...faint whiffs of sincerity...goes to extremes without giving the appearance of full Fartbongo.

I'll go ahead and award a full 10/10.

Congrats.

My hate for him has cooled since "Duh Decision."

He's a ridiculously gifted athlete, and could possibly be all-league in a number of different pro sports.

I can't give him a pass for that bullshiat, however. He knows *exactly* what he's doing, and anyone who passes it off as "Oh he's been surrounded by fluffers since he was 13!" is laughably naive, deliberately so or not.

I once was blind, but now I see.

Ha...I work with the guy that hit the shot. Someone told me the other week that he was going down to shoot a half-courter during some NBA game, but when I saw these headlines I didn't put two and two together. He's one lucky dude, enters a ton of online contests and has won stuff like a truck, an entrance in the world series of poker, and more.
