Oh, FFS.

Disappointed Canada hasn't mounted at least two robot arms on each mixed nut can.

This brings up a nightmare scenario in space though. You close all your containers and then listen as their contents bang around for the next few hours. Have a good night's sleep...

why would they bang around? they're either just float there, or gently settle along one side over time. It's not like they'd go zipping around the container forever, even if you shook it.

I was really hoping he'd tear off the seal and the contents of the can would spill out and float freely into the cabin causing Colonel Hadfield to recreate that scene from Deep Space Homer

But alas, it was not to be.

Goddamnit. Who powered up the spacecore again?

Listening to OregonVet cry is surprisingly entertaining.

If he really had the nuts, he would have let them loose.

Microgravity allows you to spill things in three dimensions instead of just two.

And who the hell let these nuts on board?

Must be fun to have loose crumbs, salt crystals, whatever just drifting around on air currents and getting into things. Now you have contacts that don't, corrosion starting literally out of thin air, mechanical interferences that shouldn't happen, who knows what else?

Ventilation airway screens.

Airflow.

Blowing all the little bitty escaped bits and crap around.

They got crapcatchers up there!

Ain't that much to worry about unless there's a big ol' liquid spill.

And he thought that little bitty thing that escaped from the can was a peanut, when in fact it was one of his fingernail clippings from last week. Because he opened that can right next to/over an air duct.

Kittypie070: Ain't that much to worry about unless there's a big ol' liquid spill.

But small liquid spills are awesome

Shame the can is 80% peanuts and 20% hazel and/or some Brazil nuts, and perhaps one or two cashew shards.

Becoming a Chris Hadfield fan. Why has it taken this long and a Canadian to make fun space videos?
