I see Pinkie Pie nearly lost it trying to prove she loved Gummy more..

Pinkie always seems one bad day away from proving The Joker's theory in The Killing Joke correct.

I could've sworn they did this one already. Cue Spike and his "all this for some lousy gems" whiny speech.

I really liked it, pretty funny, in my opinion.

I've seen a few episodes of this and I don't know why this show is so popular with grown men. Yes, it's better than the previous cartoons, and the vector animation style is nice, but the storylines are still common kiddie drivel.

Hey, look, it's the jerkoff who loudly and proudly proclaims how he ignores people for posting pony pics, yet comes into threads that specifically are about ponies!

And let's not forget about how he complains when ponies are posted in Football threads because they're not about football, yet his only contribution to the Football thread is to tell everyone how he ignores people who post pony pics!

Let's give him a round of applause for knowing how to ignore things he doesn't like!

Even though Derpy was missing, it was nice to several other background Ponies making an appearance.

It was also nice to see Angel finally develop a bit as a character beyond simply being a spoiled brat.

I saw Cheerilee and Big Mac walking in the background; maybe the CMC's are better matchmakers than they thought.

I liked the episode, even though pretty much nothing of importance happened. It was amusing to see Fluttershy has now mastered the art of persuasion, leaps and bounds above where she was back in the Iron Will episode. Likewise, I also loved the random Zecora and Granny Smith cameos.

Interesting to see that gems do seem to be more valuable than we thought at first, given the truckloads that Rarity goes through. Also of note was Big Macintosh and Cheerilee hanging out in the background, and Golden Harvest meeting somebody at the train station. Oh yes, and we can't forget Doughnut Joe.

Overall, fun but forgettable, like a lot of Spike episodes.

Well, it won't go down as one of the greats, but this episode wasn't a bad way to spend a half hour. It was good to see the pets and other minor characters given a chance to shine, and the nod toward the next episode was a nice touch. On a scale from one to ten, I give it a "yeah, okay."

Well at least my campaign of getting Brony adopted as a pejorative is gaining traction. People are now using it in the same context as Motherfarker now and this pleases me.

A minority of bronies "clop" or fap to pony-related things, same with almost any fandom. But honestly that Cracked Quick Fix didn't even note the actual insane things in the fandom. And #3 most of the few clopper bronies I know didn't even have any knowledge of it. Most of the that list is shiat honestly.

She's got the money to roll with the Canterlot crowd, but as we saw in "Sweet and Elite," she doesn't quite have the social graces down. She's at her most adorkable when she slips, but she's beginning to get the hang of noblesse oblige.

Who knows? Depends on what it was made of.

Maybe rubies are worth thousands of bits per carat (or per carrot), but emeralds are so plentiful they're only valuable as confection?
