: was recently reported to the police for having kept residents awake at night.

How can they tell it's night?
What else are you going to do in Iceland in winter? Sleep or fark? No call the cops!

Slow news day?  Sure.  Right.  It certainly means something to the people who were kept awake all night because of their neighbor's cock.

It's Iceland.  It's just an island of beautiful cousins listening to Sigur Ros albums all day.  What do you expect to happen there?

Poking beautiful Icelandic cousins with my cock all night long.

Well since "days" up there only last about 15 minutes, I'd be pissed too if I had to listen to that for all of it.

Iceland has like 300,000 people. Not all of them are in Reykjavik. The whole country is like a small city spread over an island. This is exciting news for them.

That letter used to be in English. It's called eth and it sounds like the 'th' at the beginning of them. I think we lost it because England borrowed all her typesets from France, who doesn't have cool letters.

One of several letters we've lost that I blame completely on the French, weather deserved or not.

And that farking "Q" with it's "U" needed when really it's "KW" or "CW" in non-Frenchie English. The King and Kƿeen will have words about this.

Oh, and don't get me started on replacing "Þ" with "Y" causing a whole rife of "Ye Olde Shoppes" in strip malls across America.

All due to the French Character Storm of 1343. It was raining guillemots and accent-aigus for days.

We should have just gone all the way and started speaking French, it's a far superior language.

That's just Icelandreview's server.. I think they run it on an old Dell under some guy's desk or something..

Iceland has decent local broadband.. A friend of mine I worked with while I lived in Iceland had (back in 2006) 100mb fiber to his house, and paid $60 a month for it.

Getting off the island is better, too..  They're installing additional undersea cables to the UK and Europe, which will expand current capacity by somewhere around 5-6 terabits/sec (aggregated OC192s) so they can host more cloud services in data centers that run on virtually free electricity, and free cooling..

Cock's Comb: It is what is for dinner...

I found the above in a GIS but here was the description....:
Cock's Comb is hip right now in the world of gastronomy. And I get it- a gelatinous taste with a "hint of frog leg?" Yikes. Traditionally, cock's comb is used in Italy in a 200-year old dish called La Finanziera, which uses other assorted cock parts, as well! Still, the cock's comb bows to no one! Nowadays, it's flying solo (get it?!), being stewed, fried and chopped all over the world.

This looks braised in red wine?

" The report stated that the rooster crowed at all hours of the day and seemed to become louder in the night, keeping people up or startling those who had managed to fall asleep, visir.is reports.

The police had a talk with the rooster's owner, who promised, to the neighbors' great relief , to send it to the country" stewpot..

Fixed.
